Commenting on an Australian commission report that recommends ending mandatory celibacy of priests in the Catholic Church to apparently curtail sexual abuse, Catholic League President Bill Donohue said this possibly is Australia's way of saying there are too many homosexuals in the Catholic clergy, and he added that in the United States "homosexuals committed most of the abuse" in the church over the last 50 years.
"Though it is not considered polite to say so, most people know that homosexuals are responsible for the lion's share of the problem in the Catholic Church," said Donohue. "This includes those who insist they are gay-friendly."
"We do know that in the U.S., 81 percent of the clergy victims were male, and 78 percent were post-pubescent, meaning that homosexuals committed most of the abuse," said Donohue, "less than 5 percent of the abusers were determined to be pedophiles (see the John Jay College of Criminal Justice reports on this subject)."
As for the Australian commission report, it claims that 7 percent of priests who worked in Australia between 1950 and 2009 "had an accusation of child abuse made against him," said Donohue, and the report recommends "that the Catholic Church end mandatory celibacy, saying it is tied to sexual abuse."

Before it was politically incorrect to admit it, most homosexuals acknowledged that they had their initial homosexual experience when they were legally minors and their initiating partner was legally an adult.
It’s interesting when you start to notice homos in the world. Like Europe’s childless leaders they have no respect for anything in society, and endlessly make others miserable.
Obama, J. Edgar Hoover, Hillary, Hitler, Janet Reno, several NKVD types, Sandusky, and yes, the pedophile priests. As a homo gets power, they do not feel restrained by any rules.
I am a fan of Donahue and don’t doubt his statistics and their conclusion, but the Church deserves some responsibility for not weeding the homo postulants out before they took orders. I recall reading how some seminaries were blatantly decadent during the 50s on into the 60s.
So of course "homosexuals" were responsible for the huge majority of the problems.

The truth is that the homo priest -chose- a career field where he would have access to lots of young boys.

Celibacy does not lead to abuse.

This is being done at this time after an investigative sweep of monasteries by order of Pope Benedict XVI.
Applicants for the priesthood must undergo a two day psyche exam, multiple interviews, parents, pastors; acquaintance, friends are also interviewed. It’s a long process now.
