We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;
He chastens and hastens His will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing;
Sing praises to His Name; He forgets not His own.

HOLY FATHER, we gather here today to ask Your Blessing on this nation. We turn our faces upward to Your Truth that it might shine on all who walk on this earth. We've so much to learn, please help us to understand. We long to be free of human bondage, we long to hear Your voice of Truth.

Please give us strength when You find in us weakness. Please give hope when there is none to be found. Please forgive our sins and faults. Give us guidance in order to help us knock on Your door and be worthy to enter.

FATHER, thank You for Your Blessings to this nation in years past. We desire to be deserving of these gifts and to carry Your Name Forward in the years to come.

FATHER GOD,
