"What's all this I hear about the Pope
wants supernatural power over the UN?
Didn't we get enough supernatural
power from the Magic Negro? And
how did
that work out? Is the Pope
angling to give God a Nobel prize?
Will he send Jesus-faced toast to all
the UN reps? "
"What? Oh, it's supranational, not
supernatural. Well, that's probably
not much different, but never mind."

Commie Freak Pope Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!
How disrespectful of you to talk that way about your vicar of god. He was appointed by your holy spirit correct?
I thought by canon law you are commanded to not judge your supreme leader your vicar of god.

Revelation 13:11
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon.

When a supranational common good is clearly identified, there is need for a special legally constituted authority capable of facilitating its implementation. - http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/it/speeches/2019/may/documents/papa-francesco_20190502_plenaria-scienze-sociali.html
This is nothing new, if delusional and dangerous in a fallen world:
ENCYCLICAL LETTER CARITAS IN VERITATE OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF BENEDICT XVI 67. To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, ...
Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties , and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums...
The integral development of peoples and international cooperation require the establishment of a greater degree of international ordering, marked by subsidiarity, for the management of globalization. They also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations. - http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/encyclicals/documents/hf_ben-xvi_enc_20090629_caritas-in-veritate_en.html (emp. mine.)
This is a fantasy, akin to a form of millennialism which Catholicism rejects, since it imagines lost nations are going to have a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, "marked by subsidiarity," which is contrsary to man's nature, thus it states the requirement of being under "a true world political authority" "vested with the effective power to ensure compliance with its decisions," which only Christ can do and is fit to have.
And even after 1,000 years reign under the Lordship of Christ (which prophecy Catholicism rejects) the lost nations shall surround the camp of the saints and the beloved city, seeking to destroy them, but whom the Lord shall devoured with fire from God out of heaven. (Revelation 20:9) Thus while the Lord "shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young," (Isaiah 40:11) yet He will "rule all nations with a rod of iron," (Revelation 12:5) such as will not come "unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts," (Zechariah 14:17) since these are those lost souls who, evidently having survived the tribulation, say "We will not have this man to reign over us." (Luke 19:14)

Spoke with a priest about Pope Francis. Said that he think this will be the last Pope. Truthfully I wonder if he is legimate since I think Benedict was forced out.

Revelation 13::1-10 King James Version (KJV)
13 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
