That’s just what I could find in the first 10 minutes.
You are looking at a word only. This is the same method Mormons use. Unfortunately, these verses are not saying the same thing.
Baptizing is not the same as blessing in general.
Yes, but that wasnt the point.
It’s a Sacrament.
Baptism is commanded of all those who are saved. It is public identification with Christ.
It brings no merit, as the Roman sacramental system teaches. Scripture also doesnt teach a sacramental system.
As always, best to you MDO.
Catholics bless silly things.
`

WWII, I believe.
Water must flow over the forehead of baptised.
I do not remember seeing this in Scripture.
Do you have a chapter and verse reference that states this?
Thanks in advance.
Catholics bless silly things.
True.
There is nothing God made which does not have a sacramental aspect. "Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge."
"Deep calleth unto deep at the voice of Thy cataracts; All Thy waves and Thy billows have rolled over me."
This is vast, aMPU. We have no idea how vast.
Don’t think I hold this against you. I realize you don’t understand. God’s compassion is attracted to you.
There is nothing God made which does not have a sacramental aspect. “Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.”
I am only referring to the Roman sacramental system. The purported 7 sacraments of merit.
