Don’t know how many, but I believe the majority of states define sex with those 16 and under as pedophilia.
The Catholic Church has to start tossing queer priests out of the priesthood completely. That is the only solution. Queers do not belong in the Catholic Church. They are doing something wrong and they know it.
Would need to be in concert with age of consent. Which is different in many states. But the public concept of pedophilia is usually <10. While i know middle age NY gays who seek out athletic late teens. And other late middle agers who create relationships with 20 somethings. As an example, what McCarrick is accused of is not pedophilia. It’s classical, like from the Greek, homosexuality.
I still wouldn’t trust McGarrick to be within 100 yards of my under the age of consent male child.
