Morons who don’t know history. Christianity spread through the Roman Empire through Roman noble women who liked the idea of being equal in Christianity. They were the first deacons.

Fake news Chuk...... Heretical and an apostasy..... Those "Roman Empire" priestesses you speak of were of Pagan nature.... No where in Judeo-Christian scripture- from the beginning - endorses your claim..... You will even be quite surprised to learn that the submissiveness of the woman to the Man was key back then. Check out the St. Paul's scripture when you have time...
Christ chose 12 men..... One who he even knew was of the devil...... He certainly could have chosen a woman in your religious mindset. But he did not. Papal succession, as well as Apostolic succession, from the beginning has been clear on this and unbroken "patriarchy", as the haters say....... And also documented and supported by early Church Fathers' writings.....
Women play a very important role in the Church to this day.... And if we want to get all modern and equal rights and all that , well then go for it- there are gonna be the libbies out there.....
Just don't pretend or try to imply this has always been the way in the Church.. Or some best kept (suppressed) secret..... It has not.
