Never stopped being my pope.

Need to see what more informed commentators think, but it seems like this would make Francis some type of “arch-arch-bishop” with certain governing powers delegated to him under Benedict’s papal authority.

I doubt the validity, not just the licitness of Bergoglio's papacy for several reasons.

Pope Benedict's renouncement of his office is suspect, the election of Bergoglio, as orchestrated by the St Gallen Mafia, would render said election invalid and Francis has shown himself to a material heretic on many occasions and maybe even a formal heretic when he had his approval of Holy Communion for the divorced and remarried placed in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis.

Just my two cents. I'm not a sede, I'm just not sure who the pope is.

The pope can’t delegate the governing powers inherent to the pope, is what I’ve always read.

So are you sincere or just Catholic bashing? Both Popes? I can understand Francis.

Here here. New election. Void both. Something fishy about Pope Benedict resignation.

I am deadly sincere. I myself am a practicing Catholic in good standing, and I liken this situation to the late 14th century when there were three credible claimants to the Papacy. Right now, the faithful are probably getting about 30% of the information needed, and the pieces to the puzzle won't be visible for some time as to what has actually happened.

The problem is that even with Bergoglio gone, as Ann Barnhardt has pointed out, the way he’s stacked the College of Cardinals his replacement will be 20 years younger and have 20 more IQ points.

If Bergoglio's papacy is declared invalid, all the cardinals he has appointed would lose their red hats.

Ah. Well me too but as a Pentecostal Catholic I find the leadership lacking from Pope to priest. The Holy Spirit is hardly spoken of and as the Orthodox say, if anything the Pope is first among equals. Infallible. No. Selling indulgences and still do?

I read the article.

He is POPE EMERITUS, a new title.

Google:
On 11 February 2013, Benedict unexpectedly announced his resignation in a speech in Latin before the cardinals, citing a "lack of strength of mind and body" due to his advanced age. His resignation became effective on 28 February 2013.

According to Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi, Pope Benedict XVI would not have the title of Cardinal upon his retirement and would not be eligible to hold any office in the Roman Curia.
On 26 February 2013, Father Lombardi stated that the Pope's style and title after resignation are His Holiness Benedict XVI, Roman Pontiff Emeritus, or Pope Emeritus.

In later years, Benedict expressed his desire to be known simply as "Father Benedict" in conversation.

“Wondering what other Catholics think.“

These days I try not to.
I do believe that there will be a crisis when Benedict dies.

Selling indulgences and still do?

Not a lot of reason to "purchase" an indulgence when Purgatory is hardly spoken of any more. The current rules for a plenary indulgence can be as simple as saying a family rosary or a rosary in Church, having received Holy Communion that day, making a good sacramental Confession, saying prayers for the Pope and having no attachment to sin, mortal or venial. No money needed. The stipends for Masses said have been held to $10 in most dioceses for the last 40 years, and doesn't even pay for candles and HVAC. Plus it is "suggested". The price for votive candles has gone up, but generally matches the cost of the candles (not counting those goofy electronic ones some churches have).

The rot started with John XXIII.

Maybe our pope should have been Cardinal Tedeschini or Cardinal Siri.

I didn't even know what a "Pentecostal Catholic" was. So, I looked it up. Very interesting.

Wikipedia
Pentecostal Catholic proponents hold the belief that certain charismata (a Greek word for "gifts") are still bestowed by the Holy Spirit today as they were in Early Christianity as described in the Bible. Critics accuse Charismatic Catholics of misinterpreting, or in some cases violating, Church teachings on worship and liturgy.

================================
Our priests speak of the Holy Spirit often.
Google
Papal infallibility: in Roman Catholic theology, the doctrine that the pope, acting as supreme teacher and under certain conditions, cannot err when he teaches in matters of faith or morals.

It was a Deep State coup. Dope Francis is a sock-puppet for the globalist marxist movement. Soros has paid him millions to be an accessory to their crimes.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit remain.I am not Charismatic.I am Biblical. And the ministries remain including prophet. God has never changed. Unfortunately many must go outside the Church with their calling. Talking in tongues or Baptism of the Holy Spirit is actually Church Catechism as in receiving the Holy Spirit, Confirmation. The Church fears the still small voice or it would not embrace Islam and China.

Pope Benedict SAID it to the world.
He wrote a book about it.

But, since you loathe Pope Francis, I guess you'll believe what you want and NOT what Pope Benedict has been saying and writing about for seven years.

Look it up...or would you still disbelieve what Pope Benedict says?

And my friend, Wikipedia? Lol. Life experience. The Immaculate Conception of Mary is not infallible. It is actually demeaning to our salvation.
