As pastors, we believe in New Yorkers ability to get the health care that is supported by their religious teachings and personal beliefs, director Dennis Ross, a Reformed Jewish rabbi, told the Legislative Gazette. What kind of health care does the aborted baby get?

As pastors, we believe in New Yorkers ability to get the health care that is supported by their religious teachings and personal beliefs, director Dennis Ross, a Reformed Jewish rabbi, told the Legislative Gazette.I, too, balked at that statement - also because of the strange syntax and weird choice of words, which masks the truth. What he properly should have said is:
"As pastors, we believe that every human being has the right to demand that others provide them with health care services."
After all, what does it mean to "believe" in the "ability" of New Yorkers to "get" something?
Also: Do rabbis usually refer to themselves as "pastors?"
Regards,

I guess these poor so called religious leaders forgot about Judgement Day. . . and greater yet the consequences for leading their flock astray. James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

As puss is drawn from a wound, pretenders will show themselves to be false.
How can any true pastor support murder?

Also: Do rabbis usually refer to themselves as "pastors?" Well, he is a Reformed Jewish rabbi. I have always found them a little odd and more socialist than Jewish.
"As pastors, we believe that every human being has the right to demand that others provide them with health care services."
Yes, the Rabbis choice of words were carefully chosen to obscure his real meaning. What the Rabbi really meant was:
We believe that the status quo of a woman being able to get an abortion at any time from conception to the moment of birth is the most convenient to a New Yorkers life style and in keeping with the religious beliefs of the Zeitgeist (Satan).

Kyle Kulinski, an obscure progressive commentator said yrs ago The Bible
justifies abortion citing Hosea 9:14, omitting the rest of Chapter 9 that puts things in perspective.

“...stray from the teaching”
That would imply an innocent wandering off, which couldn’t be further from God’s truth.

Usual suspects. Yeah, each from their Liberal/Progressive wings.
Probably UMC (Methodist), PC-USA (Presbyterian), National Baptist Convention (Baptist), Reform (Jewish), Reformed (Catholic) Mainline (Episcopal) leaders all of these are careening toward there denominations logical conclusions.
The dust bin of history is not quite full.

16 These six things the LORD hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

Regardless of what the Catholic bishops may tell policymakers, the great majority of the faithful in the Catholic church disagree with our hierarchy about issues of abortion, contraception, and where and how the proper role of religious voices in public policy should be, Ratcliff said.
Majority of the unfaithful. Faithful Catholics do not believe in abortion.

“when religions stray from religion and move to political activism, they are no longer a religion in my opinion.”
We won’t attend a church if the pastor ISN’T politically engaged and bold about politics. A preacher doesn’t “stray from religion” to have opinions about political issues. Religious principles and government are connected.
