Because if conversion therapy works, then gay is indeed a choice. That does not further the “born that way” narrative. Gays can’t be a victim group if their perversion is simply a choice.

Nope, I know the man. I am a conservative and I don’t and never considered ANYONE to be THE spokesman for any ex-gay out there.
I consider each and every testimony individually and there are many out there. I know two people myself.

Your body is going to respond sexually & no amount of therapy can change how it responds. I don’t know any women friends who would end up with a man who said he was previously gay. He’s not going to be be previous anything. He’s gay.

I agree with you. Many have relapses into homosexual behavior. I like being HIV-negative.
Not if they’re bi, but a bi man to a straight woman is going to be seen as gay. Going by my women friends they don’t want a bi or gay guy.
I’ve always wondered about couples where the male is super effeminate. As a guy it just seems REALLY weird to me that women would be attracted to that. I guess everyone has their “type.”
