Let’s arise and re-dedicate ourselves. Prayer, fasting, abstinence, courage. May God move the scales of Justice as He wills.

That's what I'm thinking.

The Feast of Dedication, better know these days as Hanukkah, this year will start on the evening of Thursday, December 10, 2020.

What can one person do? By doing this, we can let our sentiments about what has happened in this election known to everyone who knows us by our self-infliction. We will also be showing the Almighty that we sorely need his assistance in saving our nation from certain destruction.

I will be following the Jewish example for observing a sabbath for these four days along with fasting and praying God rescues America from our own foolishness and lack of will and effort to stop our decline.

God bless!

He’s not the only one who calls himself a prophet who has predicted this.

Time will tell and I’m hoping so, although I expect all hell to break loose when he does.

But God has already answered a lot of prayer by turning other elections away from the democrats and having pro-life and pro-constitution politicians elected and those who do evil removed.

And all that would be for nothing if Trump is not inaugurated. So here’s hoping that Trump is in and we can prove ourselves worthy of this one last chance God is hopefully giving us.

Amen. Thank you.

“Charlie Shamp is, however, the only personality I know of who is adding the disclaimer that believers in the USA must pray a Trump victory into being, that it is not a foregone conclusion.”

Nice to have it both ways....if it doesn’t happen...well I guess no one prayed enough, right?

Elijah prayed that God would reveal himself powerfully after the Baal priests prayed all day. Israel watched but hardly anyone was praying; a drought was ravishing the land. God struck Elijah’s utterly wet and sodden sacrifice and nothing was left but ash. Then the rains fell and the people then believed and slew all the priests of Baal.(Elijah at one point was one of the few prophets left after Jezebel had all the Godly prophets killed, as many as she could get her hands on).

The point I’m making is that God reaffirmed his covenant with Israel even though the land was in a state of corruption. Oh we should pray, as many as we can get...but God will send revival when he is ready and there won’t necessarily have to be a quid pro quo. The churches may need to be readied for the influx that will come in. So perhaps the workers should be raised up and be ready...

Thank you. It is reassuring to me many are spending their time on God’s word and Biblical topics.

BUMP that. There is absolutely no time like the present.

“And the people wondered after the beast....”
“And the people rejoiced after the beast killed the 2 witnesses, sending presents to each other”....(I wonder if it happens around Christmas time)

So you “misplaced 2Thessalonians”...You weren’t that far off. With all the things that happened to the nations in Revelation and they still would’t repent...indeed cementing their doom by taking the mark? Yup...strong delusion!

I share a few more thoughts in post 41. Thank you for your reassuring words. They give me confidence that this is an appropriate action prior to the approaching Electoral College vote.

If such were to go viral, the entire nation would know of our steadfast resolve that OUR America will not go silently into the night, thereby giving pause to anyone who thinks they're going to make it so simple.

God bless you too Amorphous.

.

Please remember FRiends - those of us who do fast - please remember Matthew 6:16.

Those in families, or fasting with others may have to share with someone what they are doing, but in general please be careful not to advertise.

Those who do this: please do it quietly for God

God bless.

Yep. He's got an out. Although to my viewing he doesn't look like he would be excited about exercising any plausible deniability. I don't know this guy well at all; but he appears to be going all in. His words indicate he knows his reputation is on the line. It's ultimately between the Lord and him.

...but God will send revival when he is ready and there won’t necessarily have to be a quid pro quo.

Won't necessarily have to be, right. The biggest quid pro quo I can think of involving God, off hand, is the constant drumbeat throughout the books of the Prophets for the nations of Israel and Judah to repent and turn back to the Lord - "Return to Me, and I will return to you." So if this guy really heard such an "offer" from God, it's a really huge deal that seems to warrant more than a few thousand hits on a youtube vid.

The churches may need to be readied for the influx that will come in.

Absolutely. One way or another, all signs seem to point to a serious harvest of souls. Churches will do well to be aware of the signs of the times and not get caught off guard when the fun begins.

I’ve been sensitive to this Psalm as well for the past year...especially this prophetic piece...
“22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.
28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

It is prophetic because it points to Jesus calming the Tempest on the Sea of Galilee when his disciples cried out their distress. Christ chided them for their weak faith while reminding them that while he was with them they had nothing to fear. The Psalmist was given a direct pipeline into the heart of God. Of all the many passages of Scripture, this one reveals the power of Christ. It is a very cinematic passage with waves mounting up to heaven and crashing down again....one feels a bit “wave tossed” just reading the passage with a cinematic eye!

God Bless you and Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!

Matthew 6:16 When you fast, do not be somber like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting.

I don't intend to be "somber" agere_contra. I will try to have the confidence and courage of Ester, and Joshua on the seventh day around the walls of the fortress.

May God grant me that kind of courage and wisdom. :)

Sorry but I don’t believe in modern day prophets. If God is going to reveal anything he will reveal it to us ... otherwise it’s all noise just for hits and clicks!

I don't know who Charlie Shamp is, so I'm not commenting on anything he has claimed.

What's the interesting connection is that Jonah said that Nineveh would be overthrown (overturned, turned up-side down) in yet 40 days. He didn't say, "Repent or else Nineveh will be overthrown in yet 40 days..."

Yet no one would say that Jonah was a false prophet, and Nineveh did fall eventually. There are many commentaries on the subject. I'm just pointing out the basic info, especially in light of it all together with your post, like this:

Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Or this reference. People can get downright ugly in arguing over the meaning of that timeline.

But back to:

Jonah 3:4-5 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

The people of Nineveh believe God and then acted accordingly. They got their act together finaly. That is to say, that *wicked* place was indeed overturned, as Jonah prophesied.

There's always a simple meaning at the end of the trail.

Thank you again for that word about Esther.

Courage like hers is going to be very important. It may be that one man or woman may decide the fate of the world. And they may have to be very brave indeed.

What I meant by a quid pro quo is one where so many people would have to pray(1,10 100000?), then God will do something. Jonah was one man who preached because God wanted to give Nineveh a chance to know him and repent. Johah had to spend 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of a fish to “change” his “attitude”. Was there some unsung hero that prayed over Ninevah?...if there was it was never recorded though I suspect Jesus, who was with the Father from the beginning, may have pled the city’s case!(I’d like to think so anyway)

Of course he expects repentance and he offers salvation. Agree with you about the books of the prophets.

I believe these are prophetic times. The pace is quickening. I believe God is signally this to those who are his, hence the increased sensitivity to His word.

Bless you, as well, and, "Blessed are ALL who endure to the end."

This is worth the read and to watch the video. From Kris Vallatton, a pastor out of CA.

Have you ever wondered what a false prophet is? There’s a lot of interest and buzz around the world (and especially in the US) about prophets and prophecy. With all that’s going on, I wanted to take some time to share more about false prophets – and the facts and fallacies surrounding them.

There are many Christians who don’t believe in the gifts of the Spirit or the 5-fold ministry for today. Therefore, because Jesus said, “In the last days false prophets would arise,” they think all the prophets in the last days are false ones. But I’d propose that if there are false prophets, there must be real ones!

So what actually makes a person a false prophet? I’m going to share some news that may help you feel relieved: A false prophet is not someone who gives a bad prophetic word! Instead, a false prophet is someone who has an evil heart.

This is a complex topic, so I encourage you to check out this week’s blog that includes a video where I unpack this more. I also shared several scriptures that show how prophets function now, in the New Covenant.

I hope you’ll check it out and let me know what you think!

Now is not the time to veer away from prophetic ministry, but instead press into the powerful gift that Jesus gave us to comfort, exhort, and encourage the world. There are many people starving to know who they really are. We must not underestimate the redemptive power of God’s prophetic ministry. You have the ability to alter the history of people who are lost and broken. Jesus said that we were to make disciples of all nations and teach them the ways of the Kingdom. This is our prophetic mission, our mandate, and our passion. My prayer is that it be on earth as it is in heaven!

Much Grace,
Kris
