(It's not a "slippery slope" if it was part of the program all along. )

Pretty sad to see the decline of the UMC. Of course the people in the pews could disagree all they want and go unheard. A couple hundred years ago the Methodists brought the gospel to the frontier. Now they need missionaries to bring the gospel to the church hierarchy.
