The Chosen is NOT a Mormon thing. Yes he works with Mormons and people from other faiths.
The Chosen DOES NOT represent a Mormon point of view of Christianity.
He has used their set in Utah, I assume because there is nothing else like it to film on. The Chosen is building its own sets in Texas now.

The Chosen is also not Catholic. Even though the actor portraying Jesus is a devout Catholic .
Jenkins is a evangelical Christian.

Absolutely agree. The series portrays him as just that. There is no straying from his deity whatsoever. Jenkins views have not shown through in the series, yet.

And I would ask, have you seen the Chosen or listed to Dallas Jenkins talk about these issues?
He has hit the issues head on.

And Dallas says repeatedly that people need to open their Bibles before and after watching Chosen episodes .
He also states firmly The Chosen in no way is the Bible nor should be thought to be the Bible.

I respectfully disagree. God created Adam and Eve and we all evolved from them . That tells me we are all children of God. Some have strayed from his teachings but that is where free will comes in.

True that God created Adam and Eve and we are all descended from them, but that, apparently because of that verse in John, does not mean we are all by default, children of God.

You have to be born of someone to be their child, or adopted into their family.

Someone estranged from God is neither.

I respect what your saying. However if my children disagree with me they are still my children. If they stray from the teachings i hate their acts but i still love them and they are still my children. I may be wrong but in my head i hope God thinks of us all this way .
