SHE Wasn’t LEFTIST ENOUGH FOR THEM!

This is a response to an existing pattern of behavior from Bishop Rohrer that misaligns with ELM’s Mission, Vision, and Values, specifically as it pertains to being an anti-racist organization.”

“This suspension is not only a response to recent harm done by the Sierra Pacific Synod Council and Bishop Rohrer to the Latinx community in Stockton,” the statement reads.

Rabell-González was an outspoken supporter of Black Lives Matter, according to a December 17 post by Eco Preacher blogger Leah D. Schade. He organized a demonstration last year. Schade, an ordained ELCA minister, discloses that she is a friend of Rabell-González’s and alleges he “tried to blow the whistle” on “secrets” related to the relationship between the ELCA and the Hispanic community.

ELM further stated that Rohrer is the first person it invited to be a part of its accountability process but they declined.

“In September, Bishop Rohrer declined the Accountability Team’s invitation for continued work to repair these relationships,” the statement continued.

The Lutheran Church has a number of Synods. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) is the most liberal. The name is a proper name and has nothing to do with evangelical movement. In 1975 there was a split from the Missouri Synod which was the second most conservative behind The Wisconsin Synod. The ECLA became more and more liberal as the years went by. The were the first Lutheran church to have female pastors and then gay pastors and finally this Transgender Bishop. Since 2009 the ECLA, due to these radical ideologies have been loosing member churches and some scholars believe by 2030 there will no longer be an ELCA.

Having said all that, the Lutheran Church is not the only church to be loosing members to the growing Evangelical Free movement. The older Institutional churches are dying a slow death.

You are welcome and Merry Christmas.

ImpBill, you implied that the ELCA existed in 1975. The ELCA was formed in 1988, because of the merger of the American Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church in America, and the Association of Evangelical Lutheran Churches.

I think people who want personal pronouns used that are against reality should be referred to by PPP or Pcubed; variant would be YPP:
PPP - preferred personal pronoun
YPP - your personal pronoun
I wish this would become commonplace, so I wouldn’t have to explain, and whiny kid would have to accept this.

That would save a lot of time having to listen to one sided lectures nobody wants to hear.
Some such people value the argument (and being allowed to insult people who disagree) far more than simply getting what they are demanding pro forma.
