As I understand from other sources the “issue” was that the removal of the Puerto Rican pastor was issued on December 12, the ROMAN CATHOLIC fear of “Our Lady of Guadelupe”; which therefore was decried by some as being “culturally insensitive”.
Anyone with half an ounce of understanding knows:
1) Guadelupe is NOT a Lutheran Commemoration.
2) Puerto Rican Hispanics and Mexican Hispanics are like oil and water.
Methinks the REAL issue is that the Hispanic community (which irrespective of origin tends to be very conservative and defensive of Biblical morality) had been highly offended by the election and consecration of this she/he/it and seized the opportunity.

I’m certainly no expert on church matters but... If you feel the need to wear a bullet proof vest while addressing “your” people - they’re probably not “your” people anymore. Maybe they left you, maybe you left them. But there is a disconnect and no-one should pretend the situation is normal. Probably time to seek career opportunities elsewhere.

Puerto Ricans ARE NOT SPANISH! Most are a mixture of Spanish, African and Taino Indian (like my wife) to varying degrees. They are not a race they are a multiracial ethnicity.
Spanish people are from Spain in Western Europe.

The absolute best part of this story (and there were lots of good ones) is that his “wife” is also trans and their kids are trans and black too!
They should do a reboot of 2 and a 1/2 men, where they’re all trans but they still have male genitals and they’re still only into women.
