It’s astounding how many so-called Christians want Christians to suffer God’s judgment during the end times.
If they want to, I’m sure God will accommodate them.
The rest of us can live in the hope of His delivering us from it, just as we have passed from death unto life and…..
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
Your whole theology is based on your pride imho.
Awhile back I brought up the issue about “apostasia” (sp?), and how I thought it meant the falling away from faith.
But some other peeps here said no, it meant the catching up in the air as mentioned later in that chapter “harpazo” (sp?).
I kindly thanked them for the insight, but later on, it just didn’t set well with me. I have been meaning to come back and clarify it again.
I always thought 6th trumpet satan, and 7th trumpet Christ Jesus.
I thought I read too about how the days would be shortened for even the elect wouldn’t be able to survive. I guess that’s why it makes sense to me that there is no catching up in the air until that son of perdition, the man of sin is revealed, and the falling away would be how they start to lose their faith.
Either way, I’m just thankful to be included whichever way it plays out. I just say, hang on, He’s got this ... smiles
OH look at the noob who claims he’s a Christian (you’re really a CINO or atheist) and hates Israel.
Good luck with that dude!
Genesis 12:3 curses you.
For anyone interested:
Dr. Thomas Ice: “Hardly a week goes by that I don’ t receive material opposing the pre-trib rapture which is filled with all kinds of error, both Scriptural and historical.
“For example, I ran across an article entitled “Origin of the Secret Rapture Theory.” The first sentence said, “It may surprise and even shock you that neither the word ‘rapture’ nor the teaching of a secret rapture is not mentioned in ANY Christian literature prior to 1830—including the Bible!”
“I am hardly surprised or shocked that anyone could pack so much error into a single sentence, but there we have for all to see... I want to deal with some of the popular myths about the pre-trib rapture teaching...”

“In Christian theological circles discussion, critics of dispensationalism have argued that John Darby was the originator of the pretribulational rapture and dispensationalism.
“William Watson has... demonstrated that Darby’s perspectives were not aberrant nor did they originate with him.
“Instead, he followed a long list of individuals centuries before who anticipated the restoration of the Jews to their national homeland and believed in the imminent return of Christ.
“Now with the claim proved wrong that pretribulationalism and dispensationalism are new perspectives, hopefully the concentration in eschatological questions will be on exegesis of the Bible itself.”

Work out your own abuse of others with fear and trembling ...
Is that the correct Philippians 2 quote?
If you read the condition of Laodicea in Revelation 3, you’ll see that it’s condition mirrors exactly the state of the church now. Prideful, wealthy, stubborn folks who think they’re in good with God.
They also fall for every fable and lie out there.
Add that condition to the the remnant True Church, IOW, believers who have not departed from Biblical Teachings and stick to the Word of God like velcro. Their numbers are dwindling by the day and the persecution of believers worldwide is expanding daily. It’s probably worse than it’s ever been in the history of the Church. You don’t hear about it because Christian Persecution doesn’t make good reading for your typical newspaper junkie. But it’s real and massive.
Jesus promised that the Gates of Hell would never prevail over the Church. The exact opposite happens in Revelation with the AC literally wiping out all of the new believers or saints during the Tribulation.
We’re still living in the time of His patience and mercy, but that hourglass is quickly running out. The closer we get to this NWO, the less time we have.
A theory I’ve always had, with America being a super power world leader ( despite the decrepit condition of our present government) and with the fact that our present government is in bed with globalist despots, and forging a false peace covenant with Israel, could it be.....
Just as it appears change is soon to arrive, but then the Rapture occurs and the enemies of Christianity, and most notably the enemies of Israel win in a landslide election. Due to the fact Bible believing Christians are caught up.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
What does John 14:3 say to you?
Those are Jesus’s own words - so you either believe Him or you don’t (not you, just generalizing).
There are a lot of good Brothers & Sisters in Christ who absolutely think they need to mentally prepare for a tribulation and martyrdom. Hey, if that’s how they want to live so be it.
1 Thessalonians 4:18
Therefore comfort one another with these words.
(After a description of the Rapture)
I personally don’t care what you believe, but there are Christians who really want to understand and study this event that will mirror Noah’s flood in more ways than one.
I post these to help them understand the event better.
Nobody has 100% of the answers - trust me. I know I don’t. We all look through the glass darkly (1 Corinthians 13:12)
I’m happy to be called a lunatic for believing Jesus and trusting Him.
There’s a few theories out there that the entire continents of North and South America get 100% destroyed in the next nuclear war or by some cataclysmic super volcano/earthquake event.
This gives Satan his opportunity to focus on the “Old World” Mediterranean area as has been the case for most of history.
I have no idea how it really goes down. Seems like the “Peace & Security” cry that the world is asking for must follow a series of wars first. Especially with regards to Israel. We could talk about this for days honestly.
Yes, I call it Martyr Complex.
They actually plan for it and personally want it.
Comfort each other with these words eh?
There's nothing wrong with planning for it. I'm planning for it, though I personally believe in a pre-Trib rapture. I definitely do not want to go through it.
But being prepared for any eventuality is not a bad thing.
ALL will one day see Jesus Christ.
Some, (the Philadelphian and Symrna church) will see Him at least seven years before the likes of the Laodicean church will see Him for example. When you come to the point of understanding this, your on the right track.
Don’t confuse the snatching away and the Second Coming.
*see Revelation 3: chapters 2 & 3.
*see Revelation 4:1 (the catching away of the true church)
*see Revelation 19:11-17 (the Second Coming)
Even more directly to your anti Semitic views, some will not see Him until they are standing before the White Throne without an Advocate.
*see Revelation 20:11-15
God gives us free will, use it wisely.
Philippians 2:6-11
King James Version
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Funny. You do know we have sermons and letters teaching the rapture as early as the 2nd century, right? What I cannot find is early records of date setting. They may be there, but date setting seems to be a modern phenomenon. Beginning with the early Church, the teaching of imminence has been taught, where the believer has been admonished to prepare for Christ’s to take the church to where he is, which can happen at any time.
Being mentally prepared for such a scenario is not a bad idea. I agree with you. That’s usually what comes with martyrdom and persecution.
I take issue with is Christians, Christ’s Bride, absolutely thinking that He will allow them to suffer the same Judgement that sinners and evildoers will have to endure through the Tribulation.
It didn’t happen with Noah.
It didn’t happen with Lot.
It didn’t happen during the first Passover.
*We are not appointed to Wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
*We are to Hope for His Return for us (John 14:3)
*We are to comfort each other because of this (1 Thessalonians 4:18)
If you want to look for a “Super Sign” of how close everything is, watch the Orthodox Jews and how their progress moves towards that Third Temple.
If we see that thing built and completed (think of what has to happen first for that to occur), I would probably say all bets are off then.
YMMV and those are just my personal thoughts/opinions.
There are many smarter people out there who still cannot decide if a Pre-Trib or Pre-Wrath or Post-Wrath Rapture will occur.
Was it "diabolical" and "evil" when the ancient Israelites exterminated the Canaanites?
Perhaps Israel is "diabolical and evil" because it "oppresses" the Arabs? Then I guess Rhodesia and South Africa were oppressive too. The Commies used to attack all three and made no distinctions among them.
Oh, and "dispensationalism" does have some benefits. It ultimately saved me from Xianity and made me a Noahide.
“Funny. You do know we have sermons and letters teaching the rapture as early as the 2nd century, right?”
Nope. Pseudo Ephraem and the wild conjectures of Ice don’t count. Sorry.
I agree. I’ve been watching those preparations also. The red heifers are in Israel now. It’s getting close, IMO.
I’m planning as well.
I also believe in the pre-trib rapture but there’s no knowing when that is going to happen and how bad it’s going to get before that happens. It’s foolish to not be prepared.
Not wild. Many throughout the centuries. Dis not even get close to starting with Darby. So you do not believe in the teaching of imminent Return of Christ to remove his believers from the wrath to come? Do you believe in the wrath to come?
