I just took a look, and while the abortion rate is a little lower, it looks like it's dropped maybe 10 or 20% at the most.

Like China, Russia is concerned about their demographics. They STILL have the highest abortion rate in the world though, except maybe China during their one child policy.

My post to you was in response to this post of yours.

By those standards I guess the United States is not very civilized.

Americans need to educate themselves about the reality of our excessive kinetic involvement globally.

Getting up on our sanctimonious high horse over Russia trying to protect attacked Russians in Ukraine and concerned about their national security from a superpower whose stated and printed goals are to “weaken, destabilize and create regime change” in Russia really takes some chutzpah.

People can go on deluding themselves that we are the “good guys,” but we aren’t anymore and most of the world knows that which is why the interest in and the trend toward multipolarity is soaring. We are going to have to adjust to that reality. And the world and the American people will be better off for it.
