I’ve been accused of all sorts of things. My general reaction is “whatever”.

But when I see someone bowing down to a statue of Mary and praying TO HER then yes, that sure looks like worship to me.

And don’t forget the apostasy taught by the Catechism of the Catholic Church that states she is a “mediatrix” in absolute defiance of Scripture which states that there is only one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ.

as a Catholic for a lot of years- I've not ever known anyone... who did so "deify" Mary, publicly or otherwise. ..
Better yet...
Perhaps maybe some proud EX-Catholic FReligion commenters
can share just how THEY actually "defied" the Blessed Virgin-
while they were once Catholic...

Though I won't be holding my breath for it...
