Clearly, most of the rioters are Muslim, and if they're rioting downtown most of what they attack won't be owned by Muslims. Maybe they are explicitly attacking non-Muslim shops and avoiding Muslim ones. But the "conservative" part sounds more like an American take on events over there. Even in the US, mobs don't always know who's conservative, and once riots get started, they tend to get out of control.
