Looks like some of these “Christian Pundits” are saying that no matter how many Jews are slaughtered, they must be sure to not harm anyone who might be innocent - even as the innocents are being used as human shields.

Given Hamas’ use of mosques, schools and other such places as sites for launching rockets and storing ammo, this could have been a legitimate target. And according to the article, it apparently wasn’t the historic sanctuary that was hit, but a building on the campus.
Nonetheless, collateral damage happens in war. During WWII, Allied bombings destroyed hundreds of churches and killed tens of thousands of innocent civilians, but we had to do that to defeat the Nazis.
