Saint Hildegard’s commentary is absolutely astonishing. Reading and rereading it, I admit that I have rarely come across a more accurate prophecy of the present situation in the world and in the Church. What follows, however, represents a veritable culmination of any possible interpretation:

“For the powers of heaven, namely, the bishops and the leaders in the church, who like columns ought to uphold strongly all the institutions and mysteries of the church that belong to heaven, will be shaken in fear and doubt, so that they withdraw, not daring to defend or to speak openly about righteousness and the things that look up at God.”^[vi]

We could recognize described here even the present situation of the Church hierarchy.

This will be when they shoot up the dust that's supposed to block the sun's rays in order to control global warming. The stars being satellites, which will ultimately crash due to the dust interfering w/control telemetry.

If you haven't read Michael Rose's book Ugly as Sin, I recommend it. That collapsed "church" reminds me of it. Modernism is spiritually ugly. That ugliness manifests itself in, among other things, ugly art.

Art and architecture teach theology. At best, the first picture has nothing to say. The second ... what are those “things” at the extreme right and left of the picture?

The "egg" on the extreme right looks to be the Tabernacle (note the candle).

The one on the left appears to be some saint, possible with child/children . . . too hard to tell.

Thanks for this. I’ve been puzzling of late over the idea that there’s perhaps a war in Heaven that is mirrored on earth. But, I haven’t been able to find much on the topic and the idea of a “war in Heaven” seems somewhat absurd considering the “fall” of the rebels.

Nonetheless, it appears to me that the Hamas attack was certainly “Satan” fueled, as does the pro-Palestinian response of hateful mobs.

I’ll keep looking.

Newman is so brilliant. When I think of him I think of Pope Benedict XVI who canonized him. Awesome brain power combined with an ability to teach the Faith clearly. The last few years they have a thing called Deep Fakes. It looks like a real person is talking but he had nothing to do with the production. The first one I saw was of Tom Cruise. And then think of how special effects can make it look like you’re seeing things in movies that aren’t actually happening. Combine this with Satan’s ability to lift people up into the air and do all kinds of tricks and the potential to fool almost everyone seems possible. And yet Scripture mysteriously tells us that God is sending a deceiving sign to condemn those who do not have a love for the truth but love lies.
