In my simplistic life and world the only proof I need to prove that there is a God is just being alive to contemplate that question.

Science cannot *prove* anything.
I might be able to disprove stuff, but cannot prove that anything it is evaluating has been true everywhere for all time.
The problem is, many people make arguments that something must be true until it is disproven. But the people misuse that because then they demand that anything that someone claims must be taken as face value and be true and it’s someone else’s problem to disprove. And they wash their hands of it.
It’s a very arrogant position to take and used by the intellectually lazy to shut down debate and declare themselves the winner.
Trusting science is also taken on faith.
Faith in the system, faith in the accuracy of it, faith in the reliability of the data, faith in the analysis of it, and faith in the scientist’s integrity.
