If you’re quoting someone it’s customary to use italics.

And I’ve not been proven wrong.

If I understand dispensationalism, largely because of the influence of Darby and Scofield, dispensationalists don’t really believe that Jesus is reigning now as King of Kings and Lord of Lords …
That is the truth. When He comes to do that, all evil will go extinct due to the effects of His rule; but as things are now, there is more evil than ever in the earth, as He predicted in the Gospels.

Right now, the god of this world is in charge on the earth; it is painfully obvious that he was not put away. Not to mention, every eye will see Jesus’ return—and that means every eye (Rev 1:7).

… They think that Satan is ruling the world now. This seems like an astounding conclusion for any professing Christian, and a horrendous insult to our Lord—especially since the Bible teaches that Jesus is indeed reigning NOW as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (1 Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14; 19:16). …
LOL, this is the very conclusion that Jesus Himself came to (John 14:30 is not about any human ruler). Did Jesus insult Himself? Never mind what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:4.

What a twisting of 1 Timothy 6:15 in fact; that verse plainly says that Jesus will be revealed as King of Kings et al “in his time”—not ours, so it is still a future event. Never mind ripping Revelation 17:14 out of context, that being the kingdom of the Beast (ruled by Satan—Revelation 13:2) attempting to fight against the Lamb—which is not an historical event.

What of this, my FRiend?:
Joh_18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. I haven't receivedany mail from His office here, yet. Eh?

imardmd1, you’re a very poor editor of your own copy.

Exactly. Would you say that His kingdom would be filled with all the evil we see around us?

That is a rhetorical question, is it not?

And you believe He is? That He is giving orders on paper to Biden and Putin and telling them what to do and when?

Yeah, that is what a King does when he is ruling on the Earth.

If you do believe that, I have a Bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell ya.

If you try to tell me this is the Kingdom of God right now, with Sin running rampant, send me a million dollars.

See, you have to run a con job to get us to believe this crud is it.

cowboy - Apoc 20:1-6 does NOT indicate a physical reign
20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
Nowhere does it say that "Christ will be physically present on earth, reigning from the throne of David in Israel" -- Nowhere does this passage even imply a physical, earthly kingdom in Jerusalem, Israel.

Jesus mentioned each time that His Kingdom is universal, spiritual and ecclesiastical

The souls of the martyrs are specifically mentioned as being in Heaven under the altar (Rev 6:9). Since those souls are also reigning, it is that they are still in Heaven.

Nowhere do we have any information that these are re-embodied souls. They are ruling with Christ, who in this vision is ruling from Heaven.

But that’s the thing - nowhere do we read that His reign will be a physical one on earth.

May I ask you where you read that?

I do believe he will physically return - that’s what is written in the book of Revelation after chapter 20.

however it does not say his reign will be on earth - Jesus said clearly that His kingdom is not of the world. He is Lord over all creation, not a petty earthly king
