Hey, Sandy...my main man (synecdoche). Good to see you. I always have had a warm spot in my heart for you. You have always been kind and faithful. Good to "see ya" also

OK, you say "welcome back" and that sounds kind and welcoming and everything. However, I notice you haven't offered me any of that Cabernet produced during that drought year.

(It is 11:35 a.m. in Florida. It is Saturday. Isn't it about time we uncorked a decent Cabernet?)

Sound the tocsin and unsheath the poison pens. In the words of Fast Eddie - "I am BACK."
Good to see ya

Dear Catholicguy,
"OK, you say 'welcome back' and that sounds kind and welcoming and everything. However, I notice you haven't offered me any of that Cabernet produced during that drought year."
ROTFLMAO!!!
Heck, I've spent all morning killing the damned calf!! What say you pop the cork on my wine (the Cab is next to the Merlot, right as you go down the stairs to the basement, right in front - be careful, don't mistake the vintages!), and you pour me and you a glass each while I figure out which part of the beast to cook first?!?

(Use the blue, hand-blown wine glasses. We use them on special occasions. Plus, they hold less wine.)

Dang, it is good to be back amongst Caths who love the Faith.
I am so happy I wanna fight.

Why did you excerpt this?
It's also nice to give the Wanderer a plug and some web traffic. Maybe if their web traffic goes up enough, they'll start putting more content up.
Wouldn't that be nice? I can't think of how many of their articles I'd like to key in if I had the time.

This quote of Williamson seems tongue-in-cheek. At most, it's an off-the-cuff remark--not a serious demand to be met by Rome. Where did you get this? It's definitely tongue-in-cheek - Williamson would put it far more pompously if he ever expressed this sentiment in so many words.
Read his comments on the matter and it becomes clear that he believes that he has the right to dictate terms and that among his terms are not that his consecration be regularized but that it simply be accepted as fully canonical and unexceptionable.
But you didn't address my larger points.
