Andy LeCureaux was re-elected to the Hazel Park City Council.

I think I saw him at a medical marijuana syposium at Wayne State where my brother was a speaker.

A few obligatory blowouts; but, also a few wins and overall percentages are better than past years, too.

Thanks for the stats, VRer. ;^)

Not bad. Some of the other percentages are pretty good too.

What the results of the Constitution and Green Parties? I checked the Constitution Party website, and I didn’t find results for any of their candidates.

Yeah nothing like being on the city council to give you a great boost in your senatorial race.

Oh and by the way how did that Jesse Ventura thing work out?

Might be the best --& only-- indicator of their success or lack thereof, my friend. A "negative alert" to we canine handlers, so to speak?

Interesting how some think Liberaltarians is the answer
because they are Anti War, believe Iran and North Korea is Not a threat as L Ron Paul has stated.

Paul also stated 9/11 was blowback for America.
The Alex Jones, Rockwell and other Liberaltarians
would be a joke if they wern’t such a danger to America with their extreme and delusional thinking.

When you see their agenda it has always looked pretty green to me

To a certain degree, SoCal, all true Conservatives are Libertarians. I'm a Conservative first and a Republican second, with very strong Libertarian leanings. I don't agree with everything the LP stands for, especially in foreign policy, immigration, and drug legalization, but it would not take much for me to dump the GOP and become a full-blown member of the LP if the GOP's march to the left does not stop.

I've resolved to wait and see how 2012 turns out, and if the GOP undermines Sarah Palin and tries to shove a RINO like Romney and Pawlenty down my throat, then I'm gone.

Conservatives believe in strong National defense and believe in fighting for what is right.

Libertrians are bunker mentality along with other views that are far left.

Voting for Liberaltarians is getting a Left wing bean counter.

Read the history of the 1930s especially in Europe.
They were counting beans and making nice while
evil people were building up to start a war and kill
millions of people.

Having lived in the real world for several decades
including working for Reagan in his campaign when he first ran for Gov., I don’t believe supporting any party other than the one who already has the majority over anyone to beat the Democrats.

Dough Hoffman as he said is a life long Republican.
The Conservative Party in NY are Republicans
For people to go off half cocked thinking this can work elsewhere is not in the real world

We'll just have to respectfully agree to disagree on this issue.

BTW, as you know, I'm not a Ron Paul supporter (even though I do believe that he's right on a lot of domestic/fiscal issues), and I have no use for 9/11 truthers, who are just crazy. And I'm no pacifist.

But, I do love liberty and want the government out of my life period.

believe Iran and North Korea is Not a threat as L Ron Paul has stated.

Exactly how much was done to get Iran and North Korea under control during the last eight years of a GOP presidency?

Talking tough and doing nothing is no more effective than anything Dr. Paul (or sadly, even 0bama) has in mind.

Far more than the Democrats.
Reagan became President just after the Terrorists in
Iran were underway and the day Reagan became President
the American hostages heald for 444 days were released.
The Iranians knew Reagan would not take their crap.

When Ahmadinejad spoke in America with his ranting and lies, Congress voted to condemn him. The only person who voted not to condemn this dictator was Ron Paul

The difference in you two is amazing. VR can articulate an argument and remain respectful while in disagreement.

SCP on the other hand is a walking bag of insults incapable of intelligent discussion. Point in being is that he didn’t join this thread for any purpose than to be intentionally argumentative and disruptive. IOW a troll.
