BRUTAL.The truth about Newt is brutal. I thought Mittens would be my very last choice in Republican candidates until I saw Newt in the running. Perry, Bachmann, Paul would all be vastly better than either Newt or Mittens.

Only Bachmann and Paul refuse to engage in insider trading.
If either got the nomination, both parties would be out to defeat them unto the point of assassination.

I didn't start out as a New supporter but I am coming around a bit. Paul attacking Newt or other Republicans is a stupid way to go about becoming the nominee and it's why Gingrich is doing well. He is focusing on attacking Obama’s policies and what he has done to this country. Paul will not be garnering the nomination and we all know that. Plus the fact that Paul's foreign policy scares the hell out of me. Plus he seems to have a grudge of sorts for Israel. I will never understand candidates who stay in the race after it becomes clear they are not going to win the nomination. To take peoples money perhaps. Flame away.

Facts are facts, the public voters need to know reality not hype.
Newt is not the guy to lead America. He is not a conservative. No matter what he says look at the record of his time in Congress. At one time he did show some conservatism to become speaker of the house. His character is not good. He is a futurist, an internationalist, and would gladly let the UN declare the laws for all.
God help us in America hold on to our freedoms, under God.. in Jesus name.

Don’t know what others are hearing, but I am hearing a lot of people are really ticked off at Paul for this. Obviously Newt fans are, but the outrage is not limited to Newt fans. Bet if Paul gets the nomination, there will be a third part run. Paul is way to scary for MOST of America.

That didn't stop Reagan from slamming Ford in '76. It is what made him competitive in that race. The 11th commandment is from Reagans '66 Gov run when the party was split apart after Goldwater. Reagan wasn't bashful in going after Ford in '76 and Bush in '80. If we were to go by this today, all of FR would have to keep their mouth shut about Mittens and his terrible record. I'll pass.

To: montag813
If you can't convince voters to vote for you based on your own merits, because you are a raving lunatic, then you have to try to destroy your opponent with disingenuous advertising and claims. Ron Paul is such a class act.
Interesting that Ron Paul is running the same sort of campaign that Obama is going to run--since he can't run on his record either.
So much for Reagan's 11th commandment--oh yeah, Paul abandoned Reagan and the Republican Party back in the 80's.
I see the ad fails to mention the fact that Ron Paul is one of the highest, if not the highest recipient of pork-barrel money and requester of earmarks in Congress all the while railing against them and claiming that "he doesn't vote for them."
There's hypocrisy and then there's hypocrisy.

Your old buddy RUN-Paul is making a huge mistake by wasting campaign funds to take out who he sees as a threat to his pathetic Populist/Liberalterian dream.
This won't do him a bit of good and it will help Newt before it will hurt him. It will only manage to illustrate how hateful the Paul camp truly is. Instead of going after Romney and Obama, they take this route. What ever dudes, just go smoke another doob and it will all be good.

But now that these serious charges are out in the open for everyone to hear and see it behooves Newt to respond to them or they will be mentioned on December 27 when there will be another televised debate.
If Newt does not respond to these charges, Bambi may use them for his own campaign in 2012 and the MSM will run with them.

Enough of the stupid, nonexistent "11th Commandment". It is a Republican fantasy, used mainly by RINOs to defend their pathetic losers, like McCain and Romney. A real conservative can defend themselves, and won't hide behind something that Reagan himself did not abide.

Newt is not the guy to lead America. I've got to agree with that. It seems to me that Newt is all about getting himself the title "President of the United States".
He is not about advancing any conservative agenda. In fact, in that regard, Newt is like Romney - totally unpredictable. At least with Paul, Bachmann, and the rest you could comfortably predict what they would do.

Well let's taks some things that are NOT out of context:
- Newt and Pelosi sitting down to push their global warming agenda - no way to interpret this as conservative
- Newt supports amnesty for illegal aliens (then he doesn't) then he does
- Newt wants (or wanted or will want again) gun owners to supply their thumbprint to the government
- Gingrich supported the individual health care mandate so dear to 0. (now he doesn't, and then maybe he does)
Newt is NOT anywhere close to a conservative. He's nothing but a liberal political hack who says what people want to hear, but when elected is nothing but a liberal on the Republican side, and he didn't even used to be a Republican - he took money to switch sides from Democrat so in actuality he's just a whore.

Funny how the public has a big problem with a former politician working as a paid lobbyist for $1million while Jamie Gorelick got paid $26million on the inside because she was such a banking genius after being such a national security genius and then went on to be a legal advisor genius "helping" negotiate damages between BP and the gubmint.

I think a lot of our younger viewers are not aware of some of the heated fights Reagan and Ford had and Bush and Reagan had. The term Voodoo Economics wasn’t from the Rats that year. It was from George Bush in a heated exchange with Reagan on his economic policies.

I can’t believe we are picking a guy who cheated so many times on his wife and RINOs are saying “no big deal. All is forgiven.” Oh well. If we stick our heads in the ground, ostrich-like, and pretend nothing is being said about the questionable side of Newt’s record, it just might come true. Any word on whether it works for ostriches? Maybe if everybody on FR agrees not to post anything about Newt’s problematic stuff, others will join in. Soon not only Paul, but Obama and the Dems will be doing likewise. We can have a rainbows and unicorns election cycle, and everyone will end up w their very own pony.

Ron Paul has held true to his values, no scandals or bad mistakes I know of happening. We have history on Ron Paul. He is right on wanting to audit the FED and cut spending big time.
Michelle Bachman is unknown in many areas ... stress situations, foreign affairs, defense, commitments, She is a nice person but how will she respond to pressure and attack? It will come if she rises in the polls.
