Yep. We brought our snow shovels here when we moved from Illinois. Only had to use them twice in 10 years. The Snow wasn't so bad it was the freezing rain and cold snap right after the snow that did us in.

If we get snow at all here, it is nearlt always preceeded by freezing rain. Six inches of snow is fun for one day. The same snow on top of an inch of ice from freezing rain warrants a call to the boss. Of course you normally get the bosses' voice mail, since he is at home too.
I have to go back three generations to get to Illinois. Seems great grandad left just ahead of Elliot Ness.

We don't usually get this kind of weather so it really screws up things big time. The whole county only has 5 snow plows and one gotr hit by a tree falling on it the second day.
