The treadhead threads are fun to do. :-)
ROTFL!! My first thought was "cat herding"
As for france, BBC, AP, I would posit they champion the Pallies as their proxy Jew-killers.
A case in point would be Peter Jennings, who is consistently evil in his slander of Israel and parroting of Pallie propaganda.
And the supreme irony for the society of fanatics dedicated to Israel's destruction, the "Palestinians", is this:
They are rejected and despised by all Arab nations.
They are subjugated and exploited by Arafat et al, all the while the money for their "humanitarian needs" from the EU and UN and Arab League is siphoned off by the likes of Arafat and sent to Suha in Paris to be forwarded to their Swiss account.
So the Pallies are murdering a long-suffering people who even now would be only too willing to help them--if they would lift their blindfolds.
The moral equivalence of FOX News' logo "Mideast Turmoil" typifies the worldview's lie denying this truth: a society of murderers menaces one of peace.
I would not be surprised to see a turning and see it first in the neighborhood, perhaps Iraq, more likely Iran, where 70% were born after the Islamic revolution and despise the mullahs.
Hah! What a cosmic prank on the putzhead imams of the world.
Chaff in the wind and anything is possible.
If Tasmin is pregnant, he's worth a WHOOOOOOLE bunch o' money! LOL!!!
No one can say we don't feed these critters. Not a one of 'em is skinny.
Belieeeeeve me.....FReepers are much easier to work with! LOL!
They've been trhown out of most other countires but are great useful idiots for the cause of promoting hatred for Israel and the US.
Glad to add to the subject matter, snippy. I've been fond of the MkII ever since I got my first ride in a MkII, and I'm looking forward to acquainting myself with the newer versions next trip that way, even though my heart is really with the older Magach 5 and 6.
Sad to say, I fear there'll be no shortage of photos of them in the coming news, either; there are repoirts of from ten to two dozen Israeli tanks now moving into the Khan Younis refugee area of the Gaza strip.
Israeli Tanks Roll Into Palestinian Refugee CampReuters ^ | 3-23-04
GAZA (Reuters) - Israeli tanks rolled into the Palestinian refugee camp of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip early on Wednesday and bulldozers began demolishing houses overlooking a Jewish settlement, witnesses said.
Some 60 families living in the row of dilapidated structures fled as Israeli forces laid down covering fire. There were no immediate reports of return fire from Palestinian gunmen, or casualties.
Security forces have been on high alert in Israel's cities for the painful payback Hamas has promised in retaliations for the Israeli assassination of its founder and spiritual leader Ahmed Yassin.
About 10 Israeli tanks moved to the edge of Khan Younis in the early hours of Wednesday, taking up what witnesses initially described as holding positions.
Two more additions to the compilation on the background and development of today's Merchavim, the Chariots:
The question, which arose therefore, was not whether we should engage in development and manufacture of a homemade tank, but whether we would be capable of achieved the high levels of industrial and technological expertise required to succeed in such a project. To this was added the question of whether we would be capable of doing so at a reasonable price and without disrupting the Israeli economy.
In order to answer these questions, it was decided to conduct a study, presided by Major General Israel Tal. The study was conducted by experts of the Ministry of Defense and of the Ordnance Corps, and was designed to answer two essential questions:
1. Would Israel be capable of planning, designing and manufacturing a Main Battle Tank from the point of view of technological know-how and industrial infrastructure?
2. Is there any economic sense in such a project - does it ensure economic viability in the broad sense, to the economy of Israel?
Findings of the study were positive. Israel would be capable of developing and establishing an infrastructure for the manufacture of tanks, which would be economically feasible from the point of view of the national economy. In addition, the proposed Israeli tank would compare favorably with others, would meet the specific requirements of the IDF and the specific needs of the middle-eastern theatre of war. In 1970 the decision was taken that the State of Israel would develop a tank for the IDF and for export in the future.
The additions: The fathers of Israel's armored fist: Israel Tal, responsible as much as any one person for the Merkava, and Mussa Peled, from the days of the Mk50 Shermans, crapped-out British Centurions and open half-tracks, who developed the tank force and those tankers who man them into the professional tank army, as much an elite as Israel's paratroops or America's Marines. They're the men who gave Israel her success.
Major General Moshe "Mussa" Peled;
