Heh, when I was of an age to be accepted into the military it was never a consideration, being a mother always came first. And I don't regret that one single bit, I'm bothered that mothers are deployed away from their kids. But, that's a different topic. LOL
Now that my kids are raised, I know that I would be an asset to our military, however, I guess not the way they need. I have looked into employment with companies supporting our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan and with my current job contract ending in May I would probably accept a position doing something in that area. Don't know if the opportunity will come around for me - but I would certainly be willing to serve my country in that way.
