A Tribute to Fallen Heroes
FreedomUSA website ^ | 1997 | Neil E. Wright

A tribute to fallen HEROES

from the staff and visitors at FreeRepublic.com, FreedomUSA.org and Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VetsCoR)

US Flag
Medal of Honor

During the course of this country's history brave men and women have stepped forward from time to time, answering the country's call to fight against would-be tyrants, dictators and despots,  and to defend the individual freedom that is our birthright.

Many of these brave men and women have paid the ultimate price.

It is to these brave men and women of the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine

that we dedicate this page, and to freedom fighters everywhere and everywhen, in the hope that their sacrifice will not have been in vain.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

LEST WE FORGET.

With heartfelt thanks to our fallen camrades for their sacrifice.

Thanks for the ping. God Bless all who served, they gave, and they gave, and we enjoy the Freedom their sacrifice provided.

My Tribute:

To my father, who served for 5 years during WWII as a Staff Sergeant, a year of that in Okinawa. He loved this country, he spent part of his life defending it while in the Military and the rest of his life defending it in patriotic spirit. He passed away in 1992 and I still miss him very much. Love you dad, thanks for paving the way.

PRAYER FOR OUR GREAT MILITARY

All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham
left his native land and departed from his people
you kept him safe through all his journeys.

Protect these soldiers.

Be their constant companion and their strength

We ask this through Christ our Lord.   Amen.

Hey pal. I hope you understand. I certainly don't.

Mark came home from his VA treatment down in Minneapolis just days ago.

Same old crap.

It is pretty tough for him, even to GET there! Let alone navigate with a walker.

I used to think the VA was pretty grezt!

God bless all our troops in harms way. And I would like to thank each and every one of you for youor service.

This morning my 8 yo and wife are safer because of your service. By taking this war to those who would harm us you have proven that we will defend ourselves, not as the libs would do but as men would do.

The honor you and yours have brought to this great nation of ours goes without saying, you have served in the highest tradition of our military history.

The battles you have fought are now a part of a great and honorable tradition. The ones who have fallen will have all of us greatful to them and in their dept for the remainder of our lives. And noe of us should ever aloow any one to cast dispersions on their service or yours.

Our country has had to fight Muslum extermists many times in our history, just listen to the Marine Corp Hymn.

At one time we even fought against each other, and yet our flag is still there!

Each and every American owes a dept of gratude to those who have fallen, not just in this war but in past wars. When you see an older gentlemen with his WWII hat on say, "Thanks for your service".

When you see a young man or woman in uniform take a second to say "Thanks".

I have a friend and his grandson is in West Point, and everytime mentions that fact I tell him to be sure and tell his gradnson that we are proud and grateful of him. And that I am greatful to him for his service.

My friend is a liberal, and I can tell he is moved by what I say to him from my heart, my guess is his liberal friends don't know of his grandson's service or don't say thanks.

GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU TODAY FOR OUR FREEDOM.

For truly and without a doubt, if it weren't for you and your's we would not be free, I would not be free, and for this I say again THANK YOU.
