Our friends’ son will be home in two weeks; known the kid since birth, took care of him many a time. He’s a Marine, at Camp Pendleton right now returning from Iraq, then HOME for a visit. We’re so excited to see him!!

Can’t remember the story on all of them. But Bristol and Willow are two locations in Alaska with family connection, Piper comes from “Piper Cub” (Todd’s plane). There is a background story on each name. Unconventional, but cute.

Track is named for a running track. Sarah is a marathon runner, and is very proud she can run a marathon in under 4 hours. Last mother’s day, Todd asked Sarah what she wanted. She wanted, “one hour to run”.....so Todd took care of the kids, and Sarah took off....(Runner’s Weekly, August 5th)

Bristol is named for the bay where Todd’s Salmon fishing lease is outside Dunington, Alaska. (Sarah’s autobiography)

Piper is named for Todd’s Piper pon-tone plane, parked on a pad behind their house on Lake Lasille. (Sarah’s Auto.)

I have forgotten how Willow was named, somebody help me out ..........Trig is named for Van Halen......yes, the rock band.......
