Well if you all thought dealing with Washington was a strange experience try dealing with Mexico City when you have no idea of the language or customs.

As everyone knows by now Lance Corporal Hammar made a mistake and brought an old .410 shotgun into Mexico. He was arrested and has been in jail since August 15th.

As a veteran Marine with PTS, Hammar comes under our mission statement and we have been trying hard to have him released.

We have written our State Department, every Mexican Consulate in the U.S., including their Embassy in Washington, The President of Mexico and our Embassies and consulates in Mexico.

We are happy to report that we made contact with a consulate officer who has just seen Hammar the last of November. He is not chained to a bed and has been moved out of the general population.

We are also able to send him books while we work to free him.

I am proud of all we have been able to accomplish so far.

Speaking of money. (Smile) Our phones bills have skyrocketed with International calls, etc. If you were ever gonna donate folks we need it now for expenses and items to send to Hammar.

Keep praying. We hope he will be home by Christmas.

Emails sent out with requests to forward asking for support for your efforts. I thank you Steve for doing what Obama and the state dept. refuse to do.
