If you know the person’s name, it should be easy to find said person. What’s the problem? It sure sounds like a good project to run down though. Did you find it with a metal detector, or just by dumb luck sitting somewhere?

I did a search of Schwerenoter and it means
“philanderer” or Lady Killer. Sounds like a personal thing. Is it old or did you find it around town?

Yankee Kraut Pact ... hmm. Kraut is a derogatory word for German. So, perhaps, Yankee Kraut Pact was some sort of bond between superior Americans and inferior Germans?
Who is the person named? Was he in the service back in '72, stationed in Germany?
There was apparently a popular book by J. N. Scheel, Hans & Peter, Zwei Schwerenöter.” Hans & Peter, wwo ladies men. Maybe it sounds as if an American man and a German man became good friends and memorialized their friendship with the bracelets, which means there’s probably another somewhere, date would be significant but likely only to them. One of them finally got married? Just a wild guess.

Oh, boy...not good,it was my husbands....before we were married : ^ ) It does have his last name on it. He did serve in Germany.
