Thanks Vets_Husband_and_Wife.
Be warned though sometimes we post tributes to our Fallen showing the memorial service or pictures of the dead and wounded in relation to the tpic of the day.

Different weapons and ammo. It's more important to deny them to the enemy that it is to cause a logitics nightmare.T

LOL! Not all the threads are this long. Sometimes it's just hard to cut them down without losing the story.

I've sent the email and advised the families to have the parents view it first.
Thank you so much for the advice. Todays thread would be great for young kids studying our nations history.

Actually, we are really blessed. Our grandkids are going to private schools, or being HOME schooled, going to Charter Schools and 6 are in a State where the nations TOP public schools are. (I'm talking being in the top 5 of the nation, period!)
:o)
It seems the educations they are getting, makes them really love things like history and Science. They love the NASA links provided by petuniasevan.
Not bragging or anything.

Hey, us old kids can learn a lot too. lol. I love history, always have. The problem is that there is so much more than a life time allows one to absorb. :(
I've got about 6 books I received at Christmas and haven't found time to read them. With summer days longer and less work to do around here I think I'll do some catching up.
The photo are wonderful as always.

Thanks Vets_Husband_and_Wife.
Later in the evening Phildragoo usually posts some really good follow-up info on the theme of the day.

We don't consider posting about tributes to our fallen "a cruel and selfish act." here.
