Swift Boat Veterans Say Kerry Smoked 'Tea' with Ho Chi Minh
HOUSTON The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have released a new ad this week claiming that Presidential hopeful John Kerry both met and smoked 'tea' with North Vietnamese President Ho Chi Min while he was stationed in Vietnam.
"He got up one morning and said he was going for a walk," said Swift Boat member Capt. Floyd Stinky Buttclench. "We didn't see him for a week and when he came back he applied for a Purple Heart for a sliver he got from a chop stick. We all wondered at the time how he could have had such a close encounter with a chop stick until we found a picture of him and Ho having a snack. Not only that, he used to say, "I did her," every time we saw a picture with Jane Fonda in it."
Kerry spokesman, Lemar Liverlip, denied the allegation but had no answer for the picture that the Swift Boat crew has published. "I haven't talked to the Senator about the picture but I suspect that the old man in the picture is just a village mayor or someone who looks like Ho."
"Let Kerry try to talk his way out of this," said Buttclench. I'll bet he has no good explanation for where he was that week 32 years ago."
"This country would have probably won the Vietnam war if it wasn't for the information that John Kerry gave Ho. We would have been better off as a country if they had stationed Kerry with the Alabama National Guard where he would have had a chance of flaming out, but no chance of getting all those fake Purple Hearts.

Got the giggles?
I know most people will understand this as satire, but you really should have put the word satire in the title.
LOL......... SO true!
you almost got flamed.:)
Satire, but it does not belong on Free Republic.
Agreed.

Appearing at a Iowa house party in January, Senator John Kerry and his supporters sang along with Peter Yarrow -- of Peter, Paul and Mary fame -- as Yarrow strummed the folk group's famous song "Puff the Magic Dragon."
The song, while seemingly a children's tune, is better known among the '60s set as a tribute to the leafy drug. Making an apparent reference to the true meaning of the song, Kerry, in front of cameras, raised his fingers to his mouth as if toking on an imaginary marijuana cigarette.
Placing false information, or doctored images on Free Republic is not wise at this time.
We all understand that it is satire, but our postings are often taken out of context and used against us. If a satire, or an altered image is being posted, that fact must be loud and clear in the thread's title.
Let us use a little wisdom in the next few months. When an historical image of Sen. Kerry is posted, I would like to know that it can be authenticated.
Thanks for posting the image sources, and I have noticed that this thread title now has (Satire) displayed.
For us Freepers, we all got a giggle out of this. Unfortunately, we have TROLLS that love to take things out of context.
You did good....
My pleasure.
You did good....
Aw, shucks.....thanks. ;)
My guess is Kerry was probably in there two or three times a week...getting coiffured and passing intel and getting his long pinky Mandarin nail polished.. IMO
