In the 'Cinnamon Girl' music video now showing on AOL music, a young Arab American girl blows herself up in a crowded airport terminal, in what appears to be the United States.
The video begins in what appears to be a schoolyard, with a group of teeenagers. The girls react in horror, looking to the sky as they apparently witness a 9/11 type of attack.
When the girls realize who is responsible for the attacks, the backlash begins and she flees for home.
But when she arrives home, she finds a window with the words 'terrorist scum' scrawled on it, and her parents covering Arabic script on their business.
The girl then changes into traditional Arab clothes, with hijab, and then appears to make a decision.
She dresses in western clothing, takes an America passport, and goes into a crowded airport terminal.
The clip shows her pressing a button, then an explosion ensures.
So let me get this straight - Terrorists are normal people, but they become terrorists when people accuse them of being terrorists?
If this is truly the case, then what is the left's strategery in continually attacking perfectly normal people in the republican party as racists, bigots, sexists, homophobes, and rapers of the environment? Do they want to create more?
just prince looking to generate more attention for himself.
I've got a few new symbols Prince can change his name to.
The Artist formerly known as Prince
- who on stage used to posture and mince -
One day for a giggle
He changed his name to a squiggle
And nobody's heard of him since.
Great. Now my dove is crying.
Well thats gonna slow down his comeback!
Yep, its all America's fault they keep trying to blow us up. We need to embrace the hatred of the Islamic extremists.
He hasn't had a hit on the charts since like 1996..
Bisexual has been musician resorts to "outrage" to get attention.... YAWN.
You obviously haven't heard his songs "1999" or "America".
I don't have a problem with it. We SHOULD be vigilant. Any arab is a potential terrorist.
Well, I just got into town about an hour ago
Took a look around, see which way the wind blow
-John Kerry
That's what I thought, too.
That's weird.
The girl doesn't cry or become outraged, but blows up an airport.
The girl in the video looks like Keisha Knight Hughes from the film 'Whale Rider..'
Looks like Prince can no longer depend upon talent to sell records.
We can't afford to lose another has been artist with an unpronouncable symbol as a name.
Have you heard Prince on any TV chat show? It's evident his mind has been destroyed by years of heavy drug use. He struggles to put 3 words together in a minute, and the 3 words make no sense.
Look here for an apology by America to the Terrorists: AMERICA APOLOGIZES
While the video may have one intention, it may be a good thing---
You don't see her going to her mosque and praying, or going to her Iman for advice. Anything that shows her struggling with what is happening around her and trying find a peaceful resolution. Instead she reacts like s street thug.
This may just bite Prince in the butt.
...A dreamer of pictures
I run in the night
You see us together,
chasing the moonlight,
My cinnamon girl....
That girl's got to be old as dirt by now...
If he is anti-war, then perhaps he is coming out against the ethnic group which A) crashed the plane into the building and B) blows itself up in the middle of a crowd.
Isn't Rodgers Nelson a Jehova's Witness now, knocking on peoples doors?
This is beyond the pale, an horrible media stunt for attention..
This rehashed regurgitated anti-American logic is the kind you find in a second hand store.
SEE POST NO. 22
ping
Yep, the boy's delirious. ;-)
Post 2 antiwar? Looks like he is pro-war.
Is that some sort of biography of Bill Clinton?
This is all about money and media attention since he was dropped from a major industry label.

Jihadism is 'chic' among the Entertainment/Fashionable Left.
Prince is married I think, a few years back..
It is the whale rider girl, that was a great movie by the way. Not an exceptional movie, but it was a great snapshot of a very different type of lifestyle in the new zealand (?)part of the world.
Prince married Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl?
Five-foot-two.
Prince's message is: I can create controversary; aka "Look at me! Look at me! From the Madonna playbook.
During periods of war with various countries it is normal to destroy their ability to produce weapons. No right thinking person would have a problem with destroying a factory which produced airplanes, bombs, ammunition, tanks, guns etc.
Now that we have a war with a religion driven army, why should we shy away from destroying their factories. Their weapons are the evil ideas generated by the scum sucking pigs that act as heads of their gutter religion. We know the buildings where these sub-human weapons are produced. If the governments of the world will not attack the factories of Islime what should the people of the world do?
Say, what does that sound like?
I remember she was at the Oscars and she told the host that she watned to meet Johnny Depp and was so embarassed when she did before the show..
A better antiwar video would be if the girl sees the attack, then protests the attack in her Arab neighborhood. She then discovers her brother was involved and after soul searching she turns him into the FBI. The FBI discover a plot by her brother and other Muslims from the local mosque to blow up the very school she attended. Her friends at the school are safe and alive and the girl feels good about her decision even though her Muslim neighbors drive her family away and burn down their business. In prison, her brother discovers that there is a true religion of peace called Christianity and converts. The girl is amazed by his conversion and the change in him, and is so disheartened by the hate of Muslims, that she becomes a Christian as well and returns to the Arab neighborhood to show others that hate is not the answer.
They kind of leave the ending up for debate at the end, but it is really reprehensible..
I can't figure out the ending. Is it showing that she changed her mind after envisioning blowing up the airport, or is it showing that there weren't any really ugly consequences for her for blowing it up?
I tend to think the former -- note how the camera positively portrays those in the airport (families, etc.)....
