Macaulay Culkin: 'Michael Jackson never touched me' (they just slept in the same bed, so its normal)
Sydney Morning Herald ^ | January 12, 2005

Posted on 01/11/2005 6:56:23 AM PST by dead

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin and Britney Spears' famous choreographer Wade Robson are willing to testify that their pal Michael Jackson did not molest them during their many childhood sleepovers at Neverland.

The famous pair, who hung out with Jackson when they were children more than a decade ago, may be called as defence witnesses at Jackson's upcoming child molestation trial, a source close to Jackson said.

"Mac and Wade have always said very clearly from the beginning - nothing ever happened. Michael did not molest them," the source said.

The pair and another young Jackson pal, Australian-born Brett Barnes, 21, all have said that if they are called, they will testify on Michael's behalf, the source said. But Culkin's representative Michelle Bega said on Monday: "He's not involved in the proceedings at this time".

Robson and Barnes could not be reached immediately for comment.

Culkin, who is godfather to Jackson's son Prince Michael, has admitted he and his brothers slept in Jackson's bed at Neverland, but he says they amused themselves with food fights, not fondling.

Jackson is charged with molesting a then-13-year-old cancer survivor in 2003 and conspiring to hold the boy and his family hostage at Neverland Ranch. He denies all charges.

Prosecutors want to portray Jackson as a serial molester who abused another boy in 1993, fondled a maid's son in the early 1990s and had as many as five other boys - including Culkin, 24; Robson, 22; Barnes, and his 18-year-old nephew Jeremy - spend time in his bedroom long before the current accuser's claim that he was molested.

Just last week, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies grilled Jeremy Jackson, the son of Jackson's brother Jermaine, asking him whether his uncle ever had "improper contact" with him, the Santa Barbara News Press reported and a Jackson source confirmed. The nephew denied any impropriety took place.

"It's beyond belief. This is how desperate these prosecutors are," said the source.

On Wednesday, a judge will hear arguments on whether Jackson's past relationships with other boys can be introduced at his upcoming trial.

Umm...they were also child stars... They were too risky to try stuff on. A needy family with a young little tart for Jackson to play with is what he probably had in mind.

He doesn't need a big payday so there's no upside for him to make the claim.

Molesters have to be very careful and very smart, if they are to avoid justice for long. They tend to understand pyschology quite well.

My guess: Jackson had a strategy -- befriend a few very rich, very famous child stars. Engage them in all of the harmless (but weird) activities, but be very careful not to cross the line. Then, invite poor children in and engage them in both harmless and harmful activities.

When the stuff hits the fan, the defense is: "They just want money. Ask McCauley Culkin, he can tell you how harmless it all was."

Also Michael figured that if he had a few high profile kids to testify on his behalf, he could get away with the molestation of other kids. Like the article I read yesterday pointed out, Michael is very calculating.

I read Ann Rule's book about the Green River Killer (murdered a bunch of prostitutes in the mid/late 70's) and this is exactly what he did. He would pick up prostitutes and treat them very well, then turn around and pick up another and kill her. He admitted that he did it so that if he were ever caught there would be witnesses to testify that he was a decent guy.

And today all McCauley Caulkin does is play video games, smoke and drink in a semi catatonic state. A more cynical person might wonder.Mmmmmmmmm.

Jackson is one sick wacked out pervert. I guess we are supposed to base our feelings about his proclivity to molest children on how many he didn't manage to get his hands on?
He is innocent because he happened not to molest a few while sifting through available boys to molest?
If you believe that one send TD Jakes a email and let him know that when he was standing up for Jackson in the last rounds of accusations ("Leave Micheal alone," said Jakes at the time) he was doing "God's" work.

Remember boys and girls - when Michael Jackson and a boy child that's not his sleep in the same bed it's normal. When Abe Lincoln and another family member sleep in the same bed it's incontrovertable proof that they were gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Mister Culkin looks like he could be Boy George and Peewee Herman's love child. Is he out and gay now?

For the record, Joshua Speed (the man Abe Lincoln slept in bed with for four years) was not Lincoln's family member.

Why would Culkin put his career on the line for Jackson?
The kid's been FINANCIALLY successful whether anything went on or not. He surely wouldn't benefit from snitching. It's about money....not truth!!

I believe those photos are publicity shots for a movie ("Party Boy" or something like that) in which he played a flaming gay club kid turned murderer (based on the story of Michael Alig (or some name like that.)

I could be wrong.

They weren't sleeping in a one-room cabin. They were sleeping in a room above a general store in Springfield.

This is hardly compelling evidence. I'm sure that Jackson could produce millions who would testify that Jackson never assaulted them. It's like a motorist bringing in a stream of witnesses to testify that the motorist did stop for red lights thousands of times. I realize that these people actually stayed overnight at Neverland but their testimony would only hold water if Jackson were accused of assaulting every minor who stayed at Neverland.

Yay...Jackson goes on trial this year, that's one circus I'll be getting ringside seats for.

VANITY: Elvis, Jackson, Mike Tyson...who else had the total American pop culture Dream, was undisputed #1 for a time, and managed to screw it all up in spectacular fashion due to the emptiness of their desires?

NOTE: Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain do not count, they were never big enough.
I'm thinking about the mythical transgressions that will serve as cautionary tales for generations to come.

The parents of the accusing boys should all be on trial for pimping their kids. I'm all in favor of the law cracking down on Jackson, but not while letting these pimp-parents off scot-free.
