Plane Crashes into World Trade Center

Just in. I am looking at a picture of the WTC with smoke pouring out of the western tower. Looks like a huge amount of damage. Debris raining down on people in the street.

unconfirmed--American Airlines is saying one of their planes was hijacked and deliberately crashed into the tower. There's also speculation the commuter plane was hijacked.

Yes, the 2nd plane flew straight between the towers and banked sharply right slamming into the 2nd tower. It hit lower than the first plane.

Second plane is a 737 hijacked earlier, confirmed by reports FBI is getting.

Hijacked planes. Probably with passengers aboard. There's no way around this, there's going to be major loss of life. And who knows the number of people in the towers. The smoke is so bad I don't know how they can evacuate.

They also said the NYSE is being evac'd. I hope we don't go into some war-footing national lockdown. We need to hit the mofos FAST and HARD.

Don't be too sure. It doesn't cost much to hijack a plane beyond a plane ticket.

They have sealed the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and suspended PATH train service. They're probably going to have to shut down the subways too, I think, at least the West Side lines. Reports that cell phone service is out.
