Now that I'm home from work, I'll do just that.

Were you talking about the article on the right hand side of the page, under the Tidbits section? What BILGE!! Who or what wrote that???
To: GretchenEE
What could be worse for a pol to be booed by the heroes of 9/11, in her own "constituency"? How about living out the rest of her miserable days in ignominy, isolation and shame??
(Just for starters!!)
To: Gothmog
Glad you posted this.....the charges by the hillary 'confidants' needed to be answered.....and BRAVO to the Boston Herald for doing just that!
Smear those who don't agree with you has always been the hallmark of the clinton spin machine! This time it will backfire.....how appropriate!

Oooh, yes, this is good!
In other words, heroes when it suits her; knuckle-dragging vast right-wing conspirators when it doesn't.
Its scary how much in denial of reality she is. The Hill plainly doesn't have an ounce of shame. She exists in an alter universe where she is the light and there is no other.
To: ohioWfan
She could gag a maggot. Who in their right mind would try to pull one over on police officers and firefighters from New York City? Like they haven't seen EVERYTHING already, and can't smell a phony from a mile away?! The sad part is, as long as she wins the City, she wins. Heaven help us.

- Luv it. Thanx for the flag. ;)

- Below, an excerpt from that recent post about the fakery of access journalism practiced by vacant politico like BOTH clintons. (Let us not forget--HE submitted to adversarial questioning only when under subpoena or virtual indictment.)

- The link below should get you there.
- hillary's head revisited:
- hillary clinton's brain (such as it is) II
by Mia T
The smartest woman in the world would relish "the raucous give and take of American democracy, " as Charles Kuralt once put it. hillary clinton, by contrast, subsists on cozy clintonoid interviews of the Colmes kind... In her new book, Political Fictions, Joan Didion indicts the fakery of access journalism practiced by vacant politicos like clinton, whom she sees as "purveyors of fables of their own making, or worse, fables conceived by political strategists with designs on votes, not news."
(Didion on clinton (bill, that is): "No one who ever passed through an American public high school could have watched William Jefferson Clinton running for office in 1992 and failed to recognize the familiar predatory sexuality of the provincial adolescent.") (And Bob Woodward: His accomplishment, she says, is to have produced "books in which measurable cerebral activity is virtually absent.")

- Miss Hillary. . . strikes me as one of those innumerable people whose prose is so dull that they are reduced to using equally prosaic cusswords.

- John Podhoretz recently asked, "Whence comes hillary clinton's reputation for brilliance?" For the answer, he intuitively, rather brilliantly in fact, looked to her anatomy and noted,"This isn't the first time she's shot herself in the foot."
-
- ...The above anatomical analysis supports the Podhoretz thesis. Notwithstanding The Pod's erroneous conclusions concerning
HILLARY! clinton's heart and nerve, he basically has it right. Anatomy is destiny. -
- Ian Hunter recently observed that our leaders are shrinking. "From a Churchill (or, for that matter, a Margaret Thatcher) to a Tony Blair; from Eisenhower to Clinton; from Diefenbaker to Joe Clark; from Trudeau to Chretien -- we seem destined to be governed by pygmies."
-
- ...The clintons' fundamental error: They are too arrogant and dim-witted to understand that the demagogic process in this fiberoptic age isn't about counting spun heads; it's about not discounting circumambient brains...

Mia-YOU KNOCK ME OUT! Even when I have read your collections and reflections and artistic, comical renderings (which hold that terrible sting of truth), I have to read um again and again....thanks for replying with the information, I think I'm gonna try and preview, perhaps buy the book. I think it may relate into words the thoughts I have so often had about the press/relationship with the clintons. It not only leaves me cold, it scares me.
And the above article-from the Boston Herald-is a gem of a gem. Every line is worth quoting. Over and over.

Massachusetts is Real Nice, about now--'leaves all bright red, orange, yellow, several shades of brown, some still brilliant green---the smell of apples & wood smoke in the air, the Moon & Stars "Brilliant" above; the smell of gunpowder, long rendered "trace," still lingering from the ancient guns of our Forefathers, & their heirs, the Hunters, still afoot!
