US Strips Jewish Army Major of Security Clearance

US strips Jewish army major of security clearance
By Arieh O'Sullivan

The US Army has revoked the security clearance of a Jewish reserve major, forcing him to give up command of an intelligence unit, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

The officer claims the action was for no other reason other than his close ties and affiliation to Israel. He said this reflected an inherent anti-Semitism in the US intelligence community.

Maj. Shawn Pine, commander of the 300th Military Intelligence Company (Linguist) of Austin, Texas, holds dual US-Israeli citizenship and is also an IDF veteran of the Golani Brigade as well as the elite US Army Rangers.

Pine, a specialist in counterintelligence, said he was given top-secret clearance after going through a detailed background investigation and polygraph in 1991.

Born in the United States, Pine immigrated to Israel with his family at the age of 17 in the late 1970s. He was conscripted into the IDF and served three years in the Golani Brigade. But after his discharge, he returned to America for university studies. He chose a military career and served nine years as an officer in active duty in the US Army.

"It is not like my service and affiliation with Israel was kept a secret. I have always been very forthcoming in disclosing all of my interactions with Israel," Pine said.

"As with many Americans, the events of September 11th reinvigorated my sense of patriotism," Pine said. "But rather than try to utilize my experience and education, the US intelligence community is mired in a paranoid abyss in which it perceives every Jew to be Jonathan Pollard."

There's no justification for someone holding dual citizenship with ANY other country to be in a leadership position in OUR military, and there's certainly no justification for him to have high level clearance.

Your cut and paste job was from here:

ZIONISM - DARK HISTORY RECORD

This is from JAMIATUL ULAMA (KZN) ISLAMIC WEBSITE. Here is what they say about the 9/11 attacks: (LOL...LOL)

The Jamiat urges the Muslim community to issue statements to the media, offering condolences to the innocent victims, with a plea to exercise restraint in indulging in any type of speculation. Muslims should also get prepared to put their case before the media. For example: Professor Paul Rogers, of Bradford University's peace department, warned against assuming Middle East extremists were behind the tragedy. "We've been here before. With Oklahoma, everybody assumed it was Middle East [terrorists], then it turned out to be home-grown Timothy McVeigh," he said. "Again with the pipe bomb in Atlanta, it turned out to be domestic." (the Guardian). Make sure the reporters and editors and radio talkshow hosts hear it time and time again. However ensure to maintain a balance and moderation. Do not become extreme in stating your case. It only harms the image of Islam and Muslims.

The only reason we don't get along with Israel is because we want to appease terrorist-loving closet fanatics. I don't buy this Israel-bashing nonsense. So what if Israelis bombed a few terrorists? Good. So what if Israel is opposed to a new terrorist state? Good. The only time we oppose Israel is when we are in the wrong.

No. Israel isn't pure as the driven snow. Are we? Someone said we should not follow Israel's failed policy. First of all, we aren't a tiny nation bordered by vicious enemies. Secondly, we don't have over a million stone-throwing fanatics inside our borders. And thirdly, why should Israel follow our failed policy?

When did Israel lose 6,000 people to terrorists in a single day? Maybe a few thousand years ago. Not recently. So why should they respect our brilliant ideas?

Israel has the best human intel agency on earth. And, their agents are particularly good at infiltrating Islamic terrorists. Bush might have the purse strings to yank their chain, but we need to respect them too. Israel recently had an appeaser run their country, hand-picked by Clinton. It was a disaster.

Freegards....

I don't read lies/swill from propaganda sites.

I do however always get a tad suspicious when long UNLINKED items show up on threads. It's a dead giveaway.

I have read enough junk from those sites to know that they are filled with lies.

And the version of Deir Yassin that appears on that site was completely discredited on a PBS documentary. PBS is hardly a right wing outlet - rather pro Arab in fact.

You've outdone yourself in the area of rambling, delusional posts this time. What were you intending to say before you started rewriting the history of the WBTS? Whatever it was, you need to start over and leave out the science fiction/history lesson.

I think a lot of people here are jumping to conclusions. we know very little about this guy, on this issue I'm willing to give our military the benefit of the doubt.

You are simply perpetuating silly, Arab lies. It is pathetic how Moslem and Arabs lie. It seems to be their main mode of communication. They just invent reality. That's why they are so backwards. They simply cannot tell the truth to others or each other. Does it give you great pleasure to lie?

Exactly. Dual citizenship calls into question the decision to grant a high security clearance. It may have been part of a routine review of clearances, which happens from time to time.

This dude was a US Ranger. I don't know the basis behined his security loss, but I am sure antisemitism had nothing to do with it. Maybe he likes to screw around and drink too much. Who really knows???
