Draft Realities: An unpopular truth

Our country is great not because of people like you....BUT INSPITE OF YOU ! To me you and those like you are simply parasites living off the feedoms and liberty purchased by others, while refusing any personal contribution yourself.

You didn't fight for anyone's freedoms - you fought for your own political power. The worst form of sub-human life that has ever disgraced this planet has fought, killed, and risked death for political power.

When you use what you did earlier in life, when you may very well have been a better person than you are now, to back up a demand for the use of armed government violence against people to make them do, live, and think as you do, you defecate on the sacrifices made by better people than you. These people are better than you will ever be because, after fighting for their freedoms, they didn't then turn around and try to strip others of theirs.

Pick a side? I pick the side of those who will respect my freedom instead of trying to strip it from me. That is the side opposite people like you, the Clintons, and Osama Bin Ladin.

Where does it say that YOU DETERMINE the RIGHT reason? You get to choose what battle you'll fight in and what you won't.

Let me guess, only those who agree with you get to decide the reason to fight or the battle to fight. Nation building in Hati and Somalia? A war in Kosovo to distract us from impeachment? All these deserve the draft?

If we draft, it won't be for some BS police action. ...

A. Yes it will.
B. You are demanding the same mindless obedience no matter what we draft for. Remember the BS you handed me about how the government gets to decide who and how I fight instead of me. I never saw you "allowing" me to decide if something is a BS police action or a war.

I would go willingly for the right cause, but I'd go bitching for the wrong or something I didn't understand.

Like I said, you didn't fight for anyone's freedom, you (not the guys you fought beside, you specifically) fought to serve your own ego.
