All these celebrities, etc., donating a million dollars apiece to these charities would help more by seeking out the families directly and writing them a check.>>>

Absolutely. A list of names is there to send the money to. If the celebsare going to send their money to the United Way ( which I have problems with by the way ) then why publicize it? I have gone through a horror story with the United Way when I was a kid. They are not all what they are cracked up to be. If you broke down a 1 million dollar donation given by one celeb it would come down to something like $1,100 dollars a person. If that. I just think Bill needs to take it easy on the Gov. and realize there are a million other things he is doing right now.

Bashing him and the Bush administration during the time of war and crisis is not something I care to hear him do. If the money gets swindled like it always does by some charity or some official then it will get filed into the "whatelse is new" file.

O'Reilly is charging $39.95 for an autographed copy of "The No Spin Zone" on his web site. I can get an unautographed copy for $17.95 at WAL-MART. Is his autograph that valuable?

Shortly following the events of 9/11 Hillary and Schumer started working to get a $20 Billion Aid package legislation passed so the "firefighters and policeman" of New York City could replace lost equipment and fund city services (including salaries of police and firemen).

Shortly before, the federal government had already decided to fund $20billion in AID, and Hill and Chuckie decided to jump on the bandwagon, and act like they had been driving the whole time.

Shortly after that, they went to work figuring out how to divert most of that money into their own pockets and the DNC fund.

ANYONE want to bet against me , that this is the real story ?????

I knew about the "vast right wing conspiracy" a few months before Hillary made her comment. Trust me, it was not some off the cuff statement. It was a reflection of the sickest totalitarian move any sitting president and his (whatever she is) have ever made.

There isn't enough money in the US coffers for her to buy us off with. If you're impressed with her willingness to give away money that's not hers to help her own career, you might want to reexamine your conservative "feelings."

Actually, she and Chuckie asked for 10 Billion and the President gave them 20 Billion.
