MIAMI (AP) - O.J. Simpson was cleared of road-rage charges Wednesday after he and another motorist offered vastly different versions of a hot-tempered exchange on a side street.
Seemingly carefree, Simpson was whistling when he walked into court Wednesday morning. He put his hand to his chest and mouthed 'Thank you' and nodded his head to the jury. He then hugged his attorneys.
Simpson had faced up to 16 years in prison if convicted of auto burglary and battery in the driving spat with Jeffrey Pattinson last year in their suburban Miami neighborhood.

I can't wait until the civil trial.
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
OMG, that guy can murder two people in cold blood, beat up innocent pedestrians, and he gets off. I don't get it!

I guess they'll have to get him in the civil trial.
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
Darn! The courts are getting so politically correct, pretty soon O.J. could be getting away with murder.

Poor OJ, he's always the victim.
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
Thank God they didn't lock him up!!! (What with him having the sincere misfortune of being a single father and all.)
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
He would have been a KING among criminals in prison, unlike what he is considered walking free...
To: meadsjn
Now I'm NOT advocating violence against him or anyone with this statement!!!But what will it take to make your PC court system wake up a smell the coffee?
Some vigilantie group taking some thug like this out in the name of justice?
Bet the court would nail their a$$es to the wall...
AGAIN I AM NOT ADVOCATING ANYTHING HERE, JUST A THOUGHT...
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
That was really not a winning case for the prosecutor.
And the female prosecutor did her self an injustice by acting as if she was on a witch hunt
Jury I believe was manly men, maybe equal with men & women, but only two blacks on the jury.
Yesterday Catherine Crier said that this was a cake walk for O.J.
Maybe next time.

What was the ethnic/gender/employment status makeup of the jury?Don't know, but OJ is untouchable. He could get away with murder. Oh wait, I think he did that already.

OJ, the teflon idiot, was the beneficiary of a poor prosecutorial effort. He's lame--and deserving of any legal obstacles that get thrown in his way. I wonder how much of the court's judgement he's paid to the Goldman's.
To: Constitution Day
Guess he'll have more time to look for the real killers... I heard he has hired some help: Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles are helping him look for the real killers...

I wonder if he's back at his home,at this hour, opening up that safe, pulling out a big bag of Coke, doing a MAJOR blast and saying/laughing to himself:"God,I REALLY AM untouchable".

Not much point of a civil suit, except symbolically. The family who one the last civil case hasn't seen hardly a dime although they were awarded a large sum of money, so I don't expect OJ would pay this fellow either. How he gets away with it, I'll never understand, with what I've heard is a $40,000 / month income.

How do him and the Clintons get away with everything?
To: KLT
Don't forget, he also beat up his wife several times before he killed her.
Does he have the same dark forces protecting him as the klintons have?

WHAT? are you kidding me?
it should be legal to able to beat him up whenever you see him.
To: The Magical Mischief Tour
O.J. must sweat Vasoline. He slips away from everything.
To: Constitution Day
OJ walked again....oh well, can honestly say I'm not the least bit suprised.
Wonder how many innocent people he will have to beat or kill before he has to pay the price.

This case should never have been brought. It was done strictly for publicity. They should have cited him for criminal mischief, fined $250 and restitution on the sunglasses. Instead he was hit with charges that didn't fit the crime and got off. The state wasted resources and the "victim" got nothing but 15 minutes of fame. The DA is a real idiot in my book.

What I found really appalling was that
Fox News left a live White House briefing to show the OJ Simpson verdict.
Since when is what OJ Simpson does more important than a live White House briefing during a time of war?

You know, if it wasn't for the incessant torturing by Howard Stern minion Gary Garber, OJ would be totally free.
