No, I didn't look it up. But I did make a mistake, Tonnelli said it ... not Beddini. I always get " TOP HAT " and " THE GAY DIVORCEE " jumbled together in my mind.

Hmmmmmmm ... well, I don't hate " ROBERTA ", but found it disapointing ; when I finally saw it. It's about on par with their first movie : " FLYING DOWN TO RIO ."

I really like both " TOP HAT " & " THE GAY DIVORCEE " ( even if they meld into one movie, in my brain. LOL ) , and have a soft spot for " THE STORY OF VERNON & IRENE CASTLE". " SWING TIME" and " SHALL WE DANCE " are also my favorites. Gee , I don't think that I have one favorite; I just REALLY like Fred & Ginger movies. : - )

As you can see I am your one true friend. I am here now, on Day TWO of this interminable thread, posting my heart out so you can join the Freeper 400. AND I have gazed on the horror that is Reply 290, and I have the unbearable knowledge in my soul that the wretch hideousness that is the Peas, Corn and Spam Jelly Salad has touched my lips at one point. It was a Church potluck - they called it an "Eatin' Meetin'" - but the Devil's own Jello-mold was there. It landed on my plate thanx to the helping hands of the little old purple-haired harrigan from which it spawned; I didn't notice til' after I had shoveled some in that it was unclean, unholy, and totally perverted Jello-Hell mold food. I didn't enjoy it. It was non-consensual food...

.....back on subject, in Aussie we have a mass-produced Kraft brand (sandwich) cheese by the astounding brandname of COON (!). True. For over 40 years! 'Coon' was never an insulting term of endearment here unlike downunder in America.
