You must have had an interesting day. I mean it. I don't think I made a reference to an "invisible hand" in my earlier reply, if anything because there is no such thing although it it used to present capitalism in a religious way. As far as Europe and the Euro, well, to resume the situation overthere in ideological terms (socialism, no free markets, private entreprise etc) will get us (the US) nowhere because it is not true and such characterization does not translate into reality. That was Cold War talk and it is no longer in application except here. It is a weakness, not only among our people but among our leaders. Fifty years of propaganda does leave traces. And I forgot to mention our extraordinary trade deficit. The problems are serious.

Anyway, perhaps you will the one to be right after all. I hope so but for now, it does not look good. Not to disappoint, but the economic stimulus just passed is keynesian in nature, that is "socialist" . It was the right thing to do though and it is nothing but massive government interference in an economy inacapable to redress itself.
