Hmmmmm...so what you propose is that *we* are God? That *we* have all of the control over which species are important and deserve to exist, and which are not and do not deserve to exist? Fish do not necessarily "go away" when we stop breeding them. Fish go away when we divert water for agriculture (thereby disrupting the natural flow), dam the rivers (which allows siltation to destroy spawning grounds), and essentially take to heart that *we* are more important than these creatures which God has placed on this earth...
You be(t) the fish would be better off as private property.
*LOL* Yeah, I suppose we could go right back to the old days when plants and animals were the property of those who owned the land they were on...totally ignoring ecological principles of interconnectedness and natural history...Oh what a joy!! :)
