Also you do not want to give out Cipro like candy since it has side effects and also helps bacteria become more resistant to the anti-biotics.

Then why are our politicians and the Supreme Court eating them like candy? Maybe you don't see the mixed message. Taking your blinders off might help.

Conservatives need to revisit how Bill Clinton's Administration let every Tom, Dick & Harry into the country for the purpose of re-electing Democrats. The left needs to be held responsible for putting their party before the people.

That really caused many conservatives to conclude that Bill Clinton never left. Bush has really screwed up by not getting rid of the Clinton holdovers. It would be better to leave a position empty than have a Clintoon lackey there. These people will continue to work against Bush in the hope of making Hillary the next president. I wonder if Bush like his father really understands the depth of hatred that the left has for the rest of us.

The press is a liberal/Marxist organization. They admitted their goal was to "change the world", but unfortuneatly they want to change to world into a Socialist globe.
They're angry Bush isn't putting them before Americas security like Clinton did. Bush is REALLY busy right now, and the whiny selfish press should understand that.
So they go back to their old propaganda, and try to discredit a true patriot in exchange for some socialist rhetoric by the left wing commies they so admire.

Media is pi$$ed because they don't have a mountain of US military bodies to show off. These jerks should be put on front lines with no communication equipment.

Its important to remember how cowardly the left wing politicians are. That's one point. They'll do anything to run and protect their OWN sorry anti-2nd ammendment butts!
The second is the press recieved anthrax, and being a socialist organization, Me me me, they probably expected national outrage at the terrorists because they had the NERVE to go afer the "i love me" members of the press.
There was no outrage. There was no major news conferences to support the "feelings" of the press.
No one really worried too much about them. people were still concerned about the 6,000 deaths.
The press is still pushing the anthrax story, everyday.
National panic is not the answer. When they have new news, or important news, they should report it. Otherwise, find something more positive.
America is NOT outraged because a news reporter recieved and envelope with anthrax. They're more outraged about the WTC attack, and it's time for the press to stop feeling sorry for themselves, and shut the hell up.

The press is in a panic because they have their kneepads all ready to go, and no one to use 'em on (except for bin Laden, of course).

Like I stated to you before, when the first case of Anthrax was found at the National Enquirer in Florida the ones most immediately affected were the people who opened up the envelope.

That was an assumption made. Unfortunately that assumptuion was wrong and has been noted and corrected. But of course you still want to make an issue with your perfect 20/20 hindsight.

Also I find it interesting that you refuse to condemn the Hospital that sent home the postal worker who later died of inhalation anthrax.

Maybe you should take your blinders off that this whole bio-terrorist scare is the first time we ever faced such a situation and had no experience to deal with it, but no you just want to beat your chest from from your armchair and say how you would have done a better job.

On CNBC some clown was saying that the administration said this war would be short and, yet, it is not over, despite the fact that Bush, Rimsfield, Powell, et al., have all said it would take a long time. The press puts words in Bush's mouth and then they say he was wrong about something they said, not him. Nothing has changed.

You're exactly right. What the media seems to be doing is reporting speculation as fact, and then when they're speculation turns out to be incorrect, they claim that they were lied to.

They need to get back to reporting just the facts, but the competitive nature of the media is just too much for them. They cannot behave responsibly because their competitor might break a story before they do.

We are in agreement but we also must remember that between 88% and 93% of the media prefer the Socialist/Democrats and their reporting reflects their preference.

"FOX NEWS has pissed me off the last 4 weeks. They have been whipppping this non anthrex attack just as much as the next news company ! Shame on them ..."

Glad some other people are noticing their coverage. I HATE to say it but their "news" segments (stuff other than O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes) are now almost indistinguishable from the other networks/outlets. In fact, since they have fewer documentary type specials and simply constantly rerun the same stuff, they are proving less informative than MSNBC and CNN these days. FOXnews appears paralyzed by the Anthrax story. And they seem to show and talk about civilian casualties just as much as the next guy. For this I constantly lobbied to have them added to my local cable menu?

You keep mentioning Florida while ignoring what happened in New Jersey and D.C. weeks later. By this time everyone of us knew the threat including all of the Supreme Court and legislators who started taking Cipro. Why wan't the same procedure followed in regards to mail carriers when they are obviously on the front lines of this attack?

Try and answer without the chest beating if possible.

1- I like Donald Rumsfield, I think he should continue on the shows. He is authoritative.

2- President Bush is going to take a beating, no matter what he does in campaigning. If he goes out and campaigns, the press will have a cow. If he doesn't, then the Republicans will suffer some losses. He is kind of between a rock and a hard place here. I vote for him campaigning.

3- I do like Torie Clarke, a lot.
