A Palestinian gunman has opened fire on an Israeli bus while it was travelling in Jerusalem on Sunday, wounding seven people, police and witnesses said.
"We saw a Palestinian terrorist shoot at us from the outside. He didn't stop shooting," a woman passenger on the bus told Israel radio.
The bus was travelling in Jerusalem's French Hill neighbourhood.
Police sources quoted by the French news agency AFP said the gunman was shot dead by police.
And the cement barrel the father and child were hiding behind clearly took them out of the field of fire from the Israeli positions.
Furthermore the video clearly shows the father looking directly at the camera and shouting in that direction just before the fatal shots are fired whereas prior to that he was looking in the direction of the Israelis.
There are a number of other pieces of evidence all of which point to the shooter being alongside the camera man.
On the other hand what evidence can you present that it was Israeli fire that killed him?
The Israelis have a duty, as patriots, to protect their citizens from terrorist attacks.
Au contraire - on this issue the media has been overplaying the situation. I don't want to downplay the tragedy of anyone let alone kids getting killed but you distort the perspective. In the first instance if Israeli soldiers wanted to kill kids the toll would have been many many times higher. If you take into consideration the hundreds of riots involving hundreds of kids in each, not only throwing stones but molotov cocktails and firebombs then it is amazing that relatively so few were killed.
Snipers were not used against kids but to take out the armed adults who were using these kids as human shields. Nearly all the kids killed by gunshot were hit by rubber bullets - not a sniper weapon. And quite a number were killed by the reckless fire of their own side. I could go on but you get my drift.
It would seem that it's you who have been processed by the media and your own prejudice.
And soldiers have the right to defend their positions and themselves. And it should be noted that the soldiers are there specifically to defend their own civilians.

This is clearly colateral damage. It could be avoided if Palestinian snipers would discontinue the use of children as shields.
The Palestinians have a duty, as patriots, to riot and cause trouble against occupying soldiers.
The Palestinians target civilians in the overwhelming majority of their attacks. Preferred targets are restaurants, shopping malls, civilian buses.
