Just when you think it's safe to go out again, something horrible happens. Yes, Bill Clinton has given another speech. No, not on that old Boy Bill standby, moral relativism, but on a new soapbox - moral equivalency.

The impeached former president who gave new meaning to the phrase ``Kennywood's open!'' officially joined the ``Blame America First'' crowd last week. The United States cannot escape at least part of the blame for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, he said.

It is well known that Bill Clinton cheats at golf. For those of you who do not play the game and do not fully understand the ramifications of such a charge. What is the story with this paper hammering Clinton? This is at least the fourth article I've seen from them in the last few months crushing him. (Don't get me wrong -- I love their editorials......it's just SO unusual.)

The total number of people killed in the September 11 attacks is just about the same as the total number of Negroes killed by lynching in the United States during the entire period that such statistics have been kept.

I don't know if this is the primary Pittsburgh paper. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is the other main paper. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is owned by Scaife.
