Right on target. I am so sick of the Clinton-loving media. It's so nice to see Fox overtake CNN.

At the end of the reign of Willie the First, someone posted the question
"What will x42 do after his term expires."
My response:
He will be an "objective journalist."
"Objective journalists" and liberal politicians are interchangable parts because all you need do to be a liberal politician is to propose the "solve" the "problems"--e.g., global warming--invented by the journalists. Only a conservative would suggest that the "problems" are overblown fantasies.

I love to hear Larry Elder speak about the Clinton apologizers, too. He writes well and commands respect, if you ask me.

In point of fact, what journalists called "triangulation" was the art of but obscuring one's liberalism by vague, unbarbed criticism of fellow liberals. In other words, "objective journalism" in action. But whether practiced by x42 or by liberals sailing under the colors of "objective journalist," triangulation reserves its pointed criticism for conservatives, and praises liberals with faint condmenation.

More than truth has been lost because of the media which has eagerly sucked up to the Clintons.

The New York media has picked up where the national media lets lets up. They defend their every outrage, the omit any news that might cause unrest among the voters, the make up things to enhance the reputation of two of the most reprehensible people to ever hit the political scene.
I suspect it's because billandhill most represent their own sorry lives and morals, or lack thereof.

... we have to be smart enough to get rid of our arrogant self-righteousness so that we don't claim for ourselves things we deny for others. It's amazing that Bill Clinton could utter such a statement and still sleep at night.

Thanks backhoe. I'm going to go take a look at your link now.

I just don't understand the media's facination of the Clintons. The former occupants of the White House are vulgar, unrefined, ill-bred, boorish hicks who haven't the class to lick my boots. Apparently, Bill must have slipped 'em all a cigar.

Obviously in the beginning it was politics that won them over. Remember, the news media hates Republicans and even Bush, Sr. who was no real conservative could not curry favor with the media. They saw Clinton as someone who could turn things around for their side, pretty much in the same was they talked about Kennedy and Camelot.
Once the scandals started coming up, not many broke ranks to report on them. There was so much agreement amongs the elite media that it would be good for the country to make Clinton look good and I'm sure those who still had a conscience were scared off of those stories.
Now that Clinton's out of power, I'm sure that a lot of the media personalities really are shaking their heads and wondering how they ever got themselves into a position of supporting the guy. My hope is that within a couple of years, the whole myth of "the most moral administration in history" will just come totally unraveled and the truth will once and for all be seen. It does seem to me that there are some small signs of that happening already.
