There is no anti-war right wing. By your same logic, the NRA are leftists because they sometimes align with the ACLU.

He stated that he paid this amount in order to dodge the $10K/year cash payment reporting requirement and that he'd done so with several other creditors in order avoid paying taxes on the income from his "cash heavy" business. WOW you've taught me a lot. Didn't know all that went on. Now in your opinion do you think perhaps we should have a new improved taxing system? What's your thought on the Sales Tax. That way one cannot get around taxes.???

Their stated "strategery" is to build a left/right coalition to bring peace (and love and harmony and utopia) on earth.
The practical result is that they extol the virtues of leftist tyranny and harp against anything the U.S. or western democracies do.
chat with Justin a while and you'll find he is a victim of moral equivalence. It's just as bad to fight for freedom as it is to fight to oppress. Moral relativity, nothing worth fighting for, no difference between wars for communism and wars for liberty. Leftist Philosophy 101.
Go to their website (can't believe I'm saying that), and you'll think you're at anti-U.S.com. Funny, nothing but apologies for Communist China (for the rape of Tibet even); and nothing decrying the loss of civil liberties in Cuba, N. Korea
But, here they come soooo concerned about socialist dictatorship in the U.S.

A true Libertarian would never march with a socialist I want to agree with you, for a true Libertarian, IMO, is a patriot, a capitalist, and Freedom oriented - the exact opposite of a Socialist. Thanks for sharing this. I consider myself a Republican/Libertarian. Ayn Rand helped shape my personal/political philosophy when I was in high school.:-)
Have you heard about the "Walk for Capitalism, on Dec 2, started by the AynRand group. Send me your e-mail and i'll zip it to you.

Neither left nor right love war. They have diametrically opposed views on how to avoid it. That's my point, it's impossible to build a left/right coalition to oppose war - their policies to avoid it are not compatible.
I even tried to 'splain that to the mini-gods at antiwar.com. but, it fell on deaf ears.

Hi-ya Gracey. You're in fine fiddle tonight, as usual!
I've been busy on another thread, wherein I (this Catholic girl) have been called an "Israel Firster!" LOL!

The libertarians are marching with the socialists because no republican has the guts to stand against this administration geez, most talk radio show hosts opposed the major parts of the 'Patriot Bill' and opposed federalizing the airport screeners. Most have blasted the expansion of federal spending.
I know of very few conservatives who have always agreed with Bush... but they don't go and join the Socialists.

Somehow, I wouldn't expect "TIBET IS PART OF CHINA, GET OVER IT!" and "Leave China Alone" to be part of a website for the right.
Like I said, they try to be left/right, with the left part hidden under a bag when they come over here.

Clinton had 8 years and he appointed/hired nearly 80% of the government in that time, like federal judges. It will take years to undo that, many of them.

Open those borders and we can have international socialism like the Libertarian Fundamentalists want.... free movement of capital and labor after all is what they both desire.

They have diametrically opposed views on how to avoid it....And they're both wrong to a degree.
"Peace through strength" has the disadvantage of human nature in that people trained in the art and with the tools of war will be tempted to find excuses to use them.
"Give peace a chance" has the disadvantage of becoming an open invitation for every tinpot moron to push you around.
There's not an answer that's clear to me, but maybe focussing more on defensive capabilities and less on offense would be a start.

I have no doubt this author gets paid by the word.
As they say, "the proof will be in the pudding." I'll get worried, when I see evidence that American citizens' rights are being trampled. Until then, I will take the measures to be the necessary expedient, in time of grave national security threat.
